Very old and most likely debunked misinformation posted for the millionth time on a forum either by a confused noob or a devious troll.

Lion - what is it?
A big cat found in Africa.
Often said to be the king of the jungle but that is one of the most stupid things anyone can say because the lion lives in the savannah not in the jungle.
And to that first guy: the tiger will kick the lion's ass all over the "jungle" (unless the lion comes with his pack)

Lion - meaning
1- A lion is a veteran member of a specific culture or scene known and respected for integrity and valor. Such societies can range from ex-military to the hardcore punk scene to any devout member of an upstanding and down to earth program, group, or scene. A lion knows his shit inside and out, and can spot and shut down any poser easily with a thorough verbal beatdown.

a lion is the second largest feline,next to the tiger, they live in africa in the savannah and some live in more wooded areas
Male lions are much larger than female lions but the female lions do all the hunting for that reason, male lions are to big and slow to catch anything besides something slow, and male lions who live in more wooded areas are more likley to hunt for themselves
there are often only 2 adult male lions in a pride and many females with cubs of either gender
lions r very defensive and protective of their prides and usually males will not tolerate outside males and the females will not tolerate outside females
male lions are expelled or leave on their own wen they mature
the new male leaders, after they "dethrone" the past leader, will often kill the remaining cubs
