In 2020 America: Disorder generated by presidentially-sanctioned contempt for the law.
Every time Trump uttered the phrase 'law and order' it was a signal that he was orchestrating another violation of the law, instigating social disorder to further his agenda.

A fictional place used to describe the mediocre acting talents typically portrayed by single-episode characters on Law & Order, Law & Order: SVU, and Law & Order: Criminal Intent.

What does "Law & Order" mean?
The term "Law & Order Syndrome" refers to an actor or actress who appears in a long-running series as a guest star but later appears in the series as a permanent character. The term is derived from the famous television series "Law & Order", where a numerous number of actors/actresses who are currently playing the main detectives/lawyers have appeared in a previous episode several years beforehand as a completely different, temporary character.
Mike: Wait, Chris Noth is a detective now? Wasn't he some random nameless guy in the last season?
John: That's a case of Law & Order Syndrome, Mike.

Extremely popular crime drama series created by Dick Wolf. Unlike most such shows, which usually focus on either detectives or the criminal suit itself but never both, each Law & Order episode usually covers one murder case from discovery of the body, through the police investigation and resulting trial(s) and ends with a conviction, acquittal, or plea bargain.
Also unlike most police shows it does not show the process in a stylized or purely glamorous light but tries to portray it with more realism; dirty DA politics and bringing the wrong person to trial are not rare subplots.
Put a Jewish cop who's daughter was murdered with a partner with an ailing wife and you have a pretty generic cop show. Add in a district attorney who's often more interested in playing politics than solving crimes and his win-at-all-costs bulldog assistant DA, and you have Law & Order.
