What is southerner?
Since I am a southerner I'll give you a REAL defintion.
Many believe that we are rednecks ,white trash ,and a hick.
I for one am not, and many people that I know are not. See I have ALL my teeth, and I have no country accent what so ever. My friends call it an American accent. I have a fucking education thank you very much. In no way am I racist. I hate country music. I'm more into metal and Deftones, Team Sleep. I don't believe that the south will rise again, and many people here think that will never happen. We lost for a GOOD reason. Plus it was 1861 to 1865 way before our lifetimes. Yes, we say y'all what else are you surpposed to say? Ihr?(German for you pural.) GET THE FUCK OVER IT.
The south is a very good place to lice. If you northerners can stand the heat.

Southerner - what is it?
Particularly the inhabitants of the southeast,n.carolina, s.carolina, georgia, alabama, missippi, tennesee, missouri anywhere else it is proper to say ya'll etc.texas is not included texas a.k.a= mexico substitute.The epitamy of everything wrong in the world. Hate for the southeastern part of the united states is an understatement. This is where idiots reign supreme and anyone half a brain can lead these people. Where everyone elses tax-dollars go to people who pay the least. If you are not white,baptist and a racist you will not fit in! A place where a fake cloud of moral superiority blinded by social irresponsibility go hand in hand. A people of few words and then the words that happen to come in the form of a partial, gramatically incorrect sentence make you wanna slap these dumb-mother fuckers in the face. A place where you do not eat ethnic foods, not because they don't have them but they bland everything thing to their palette example: chinese food, fried rice will be called just rice, lo mein will simply be noodles, Italian food everything will have to taste like chef boyordee and don't dare put garlic in it or herbs it is considered an evil witch brew. Polish and german food don't even try a brat/sausage will be a hotdog, if you even say the word saurkraut their heads will cock sideways like that look a retarded dog gives you. Beer will usually be a piss tasting domestic; miluakees beast light/ Pabst or the redneck fav Nattie Ice. Cigarettes will be 100's to the southerner they think they are getting more for their money and usually doral's or liggets or someother amonia tasting off-brand. ideaology how the world works is that they want lower taxes which they get and a social system that pleases them. they usually bitch about their healthcare(the worst) and then complain about taxes. Will defend their decisions to the end like a con on death-row. example: voting in the worst president in the history of the United States and supporting his war of Scare-or. Please if you are from the south stay there in your pit of wallow, we do not want your ideaology anywhere else.

What does "southerner" mean?
- I'm not going to lie... all of my family is from the North, but I was raised in the South.
- "Southern Comfort" is a bunch of lies. Sure Southerners are hospitable, if you're White, Protestant, and from the South. If you don't fit this description you will be subject to the same prejudice as everyone else.
- The North won... thank God! If not, we'd all be chewing tobacco, hanging Confederate flags, and lazy as hell.
* The South will never rise again, accept it and dont' hate on the Northerns who work hard, are prosperous, and have an open mind.
The Southerner is a racist, lazy, prejudice, unaccepting, like to shoot things, wear camo, spit tobacco, and worship the Confederate flag.
Southerner - what does it mean?
Contrary to popular belief, southerners are not ignorant, drunken hicks that live in trailer parks and eat possum as shown by Dukes of Hazzard and Kevin Federline. Most southerners are well educated and have a strong sense of moral value. And no, not all of us talk like Forrest Gump. Southerners are perhaps the most badass variety of Americans there are and in short, we basically own everything.

Southerner - meaning
a term referring to about 50-60 million people who live in the Southeast. Many of these people are generally good, and the majority of them also have a strong sense of morals and traditional family values, which is very important. However, about a quarter or so of them, usually referred to as rednecks or white trash, are not good people. They only make up less than 20 million of them though, and there are also rednecks in The North, too, so its not just The South.
Southerners (the people who live in the states below Kentucky and Missouri) are usually more hospitable and moral than a lot of people in the Northeast or on the West Coast.

Humans seem to have a desire to categorize EVERYTHING. We all do it. Southerner became an easy way to gerneralize people who had a different culture. For those of us who had never been south of Illinois and East of Kansas ;it was a broad generalization. Referring to people who had hot summers, talked with a drawl,the highest hospitality rating,liked grits,sweet tea and a realxed, God loving life.
A good friend of mine was from Georgia and called herself a Southerner and was proud of it. She said a Southerner comes from God's country. I am a transplant will I ever be a Southerner?

An individual who lives in the southern United States. Nasal-voiced northerners insist that all southerners are inbred, ignorant hicks, but in truth it's the northerners (see Yankees) who are the ignorant ones.
A true southerner is moralistic, kind, practices southern hospitality, has an actual sense of humor, and sees more to life than rushing around in a city all day. Come on people, sit back and drink some lemonade or something.

1) A general term for a person that lives in the South.
2) A person that lives in the South. Most of them are friendly, good-humored, and overall: AWESOME! Southerners, being a general term, know the difference between a good ol' boy,a redneck, a hillbilly, and po' white trash. YES, PEOPLE! THERE ARE DIFFERENCES BETWEEN THEM!

A Southerner is someone born south of the Mason Dixon line and North of I-10 in Florida. Most of Florida is no longer part of the south as was long ago infiltrated by non-southerners called Snow Birds, as well as Yankees looking to make a buck and immigrants from Spanish speaking countries.
Southerners will always offer food and drink to visitors and invite you to every backyard bar b que, fish fry, or bon fire. If you visit, you will always be offered Beer, Sweet Tea or a Coca Cola. True southerners only drink Coke, never Pepsi. Pepsi is sacrilegious in the south. To turn down an offering of food or drink in the south is considered an insult.
Southerners are very polite and friendly until you take some action or make some comment that you perceive will go over their head as a subtle insult. . The point being, don't underestimate the intelligence of a southerner, you risk having your ass cussed out in front of the whole world.
A true Southerner never drinks Pepsi, only Coke.
