What is populous?
A phenomenon in which government specifically economics is perceived to operate according to the laws of small business.
Populism believes that the economy operates according the laws of small business in contrast to neoliberalism which proffers that the government operates according to the laws of BIG business (corporations).

Population is the part of the prison or penitentiary where the majority of the prisoners are held. As opposed to solitary confinement or the psych ward.

In other words, there was much populism.
