What is poopsocking?
A sock which has either come in contact with human feces, or has been loaded with human feces. Once the sock has been prepared with the aforementioned feces, it shall be used to terrorize others.
He was being rather disagreeable, so I made a poopsock and beat him in the face with it until he vomited from the smell of feces.

Poopsocking - what is it?
Despite the fact that many believe that poopsocks were invented to sustain the ability to play video games for long periods of time, new evidence suggests that poopsocks were invented much longer ago for and for a very different purpose. A Sock containing fossilized fecal material was recently discovered in the Great Rift Valley. Carbon dating tests estimate the sock and feces are nearly 30,000 years old putting the poopsock at nearly the same time modern culture as we know it began to develop. Similar materials were found in a camp 200 miles away. The camp displayed evidence of an attack as the many skeletons showing sings of battering. Even more interesting was the fact that feces and pieces of sock material were found on the bodies with evidence showing that they may have been used for striking. Thus it is theorized that poopsocks have been in use for many millenniums as a weapon.

Verb: to obsessively and excessively play a game, usually an MMORPG, usually for hours on end and to the exclusion of all other concerns.

Frequently mistaken for a thread where someone's roommate was revealed to have been shitting off the side of his desk chair while playing everquest the reality of this is even more disturbing.
Someone posted a thread about a girl he knew who had been dating a guy who was kind of weird. In the end it turned out that he was storing his feces in socks in duffel bags under his bed.

Poopsocking - slang
1. A sock that is used as a temporary contained for faecal matter.
2. A vital part of any dedicated EverQuest player's equipment. A poopsock eliminates the need to go all the way to the bathroom, which wastes valuable levelling time.
3. An insult used to refer to an obsessive MMORPG player who gains an unusually high number of levels in one day.
SpawnSlayer13 is such a poopsock. He got from level 1 to 60 in the space of a day.
Poopsocking
In reference to players of MMORPG's that instead of taking a break to go to the bathroom, they take off their sock, defecate in it, and throw it aside for later disposal. Refers to someone who stays up all day and all night to play an MMORPG.
"Steve, how'd you make lvl 50 already? You were just lvl 45 a couple days ago. You friggin poopsocker!"
Poopsocking
Verb. From the root, "poopsock". The practice of defecating into an article of clothing in lieu of leaving a task to use a traditional toilet. Almost exclusively used in relation to video gaming.
Similar in concept, but distinct from Shitbucket/Shit-bucketing; a derogatory term which denotes the usage of a non-clothing receptacle, and is used exclusively toward level-based online gaming.
Player 1: "Man, I need a bio break, but I can't leave the raid."
Player 2: "Same, but I've been poopsocking since the first boss."

Player 3: ". . .You people are disgusting."

Defacating into a sock in order to avoid having to get up from your computer to use the toilet. Often utilized when playing online role playing games.
