What is pipebomb?
Commonly used on the app Discord. Can be used as a response for literally anything. Usually as a form of a GIF, so there would be a GIF of someone dancing with text saying "There's a pipebomb in your mail box."

When you bust a fat load into a Canadian.

What does "pipebomb" mean?
A conversational pipebomb is when someone (usually the guy only kept around out of pity) destroys all momentum of a social interaction with a single phrase or opinion typically awkward, offensive, or ignorant. This usually results in:
1. everybody in the group becoming angry and the once civil conversation devolving into an argument
2. total silence occasionally interrupted with a half hearted attempt at a joke or topic (which is always shot down)
3.everybody leaving
John: Did you guys hear about that shooting recently?
Dave: The one down in Texas?
Steve: YEAH! Really fucked up stuff!
Hunter: Yeah, for sure but I mean those kids were kinda asking for it.

It can be used to describe both positive and negative things and is really up to the user to decide how to portray the message and through the use of tone, up to the listener to understand it. Originally the phrase was used to describe someone being overly upset or angry and just waiting to go off into a fit of rage. Often occurrences of this scenario play off between aggravated celebrities and the paparazzi. Through the process of evolution the meaning of the phrase has been broadened and can be used to describe just about anything.
