Gen alpha - what is it?
Gen Alpha, the Generation thatβs fully born in the 21st century. Years are from 2013-2028. As of November 1st, 2023. We still have 5 years left to deal with Gen Alpha. After that we have Gen Beta, (2029-2044) Gen Alpha is the generation after Gen Z (1997-2012) + The children of mostly Gen Y/Millenials (1981-1996) And is full of children who never experienced the 7th generation of consoles, the 2008 recession, Obamaβs Re-Election 2012, VHS, DVDS, Life before the rise of AI, Pre-Covid, etc. I really hope that Generation will improve once they hit their adulthood. They still have a long way to go since their eldest member is in the last year of elementary. Gen Alpha is commonly referred to as the βiPad Kidsβ due to their extreme use of screen time and weird habits while on the screen.

Gen alpha - meaning
A generation of people born between 2013 and 2028, predating Gen Beta (2029 - 2044) and succeeding Gen Z (1997-2012). Most Gen Alphas will be born to Millennials and Gen Zers. Since most members of Gen Alpha are under 10 years old and are still unaware of Twitter, it is unpredictable to see how they will act on the Internet after being exposed to CocoMelon, Baby Shark, their potentially toxic parents and other outside factors. Gen Alphas are similar to Gen Z in that they have also grown up with smartphones, tablets, and the Internet, but different in that they watch stuff (CocoMelon and Baby Shark) that PewDiePie's 9-year-old army (consisting entirely of Gen Zers) strongly despise.

Gen alpha - definition
The name that is currently given to the Generation born after Generation Z (Roughly born from 1997-2012). Some other names this generation is colloquially referred to as are "Gen Autonomous, the AI Gen, and Gen A" .
The starting year (2013) is used for the sole fact that it is the year the Tesla Model S was commercially available to consumers and was also the first electric car to top the monthly new-car-sales ranking in any country. Twice in Norway in 2013 and once in Denmark in December 2015. 2013 was also the first year that smartphone sales overtook the sale of dumb/feature/basic cell phones meaning that Gen Alpha will not know a world without always being connected online everywhere. COVID is another event that most Gen Alpha's will not be cognizant for or vaguely remember because of their young age at the time.
Most Gen Alpha's will be the children of Millennials (1981-1996). However, as of 2021 there is actually an on-going trend of Millennials having less children than any other generation. With a record low globally of only 58.3 out of 1000 women giving birth. Of course there are some ideas of this happening such as such as the 2020 Global Pandemic ( COVID ), and also the inequality gap between different age groups also and the general economy of the world currently. Because of this it is predicted that Gen Alpha may share a trend of being part of a baby bust just like Gen X (1965-1980) were a part of.
Gen Alpha are the first generation to be fully born into a world with AI and Autonomous technology. Often critiqued by Gen Z's for being "sticky iPad kids" and "tablet/iPad babies", most are unaware that the majority of Gen Alpha's aren't even born yet.
They are predicted to be the smartest most cautiously aware generation, "future concerned" generation as well. Alpha's parents were told "they can be anything they want" as they grew up. Gen Alpha will most likely be told the complete opposite due to jobs becoming outdated/unneeded as AI technology progresses. It's also possible that Gen Alpha will have their entire lives completely saved on social media/technology as physical media is pretty much nonexistent at this point.

The Generation Born between 2012 and an unknown end. Although some same Gen Alpha may end in 2025, although as of this definition, 2025 is not here yet so we canβt be 100% sure. This Generation grew up in the Late 2010s, Early 2020s, Mid 2020s, Late 2020s, Early 2030s, and Mid 2030s.
There is a Stereotype that Gen Alpha grew/is growing up with IPads and When their IPad is taken away they die or something like that, that is only partially true. While they did grow up in the technological Age, some of them didnβt actually have a Phone next to them the moment they are born.
Gen Alpha could be living in one of the most revolutionary times in Human History, or they could be living in one of the worst times in Human History, it really just depends how Stupid the Human Race Is.
