What is counterproductive?
This is behaviour on the part of an employee or employees that works against the legitimate interests of the organisation that employs them or indeed their own interests. This sort of behaviour is detrimental to the organisation, its employees, clients and customers. It is believed that persons with a tendency to experience anger are more likely to respond to a stressful situation, such as being treated unfairly with counterproductive workplace behaviour.
When the supervisor blamed Charlie for his own mistake, Charlie deliberately jammed all three photocopiers in a fit of counterproductive workplace behaviour.

Counterproductive - what is it?
(1). someone who is defined as a counterproductive procrastinator. They never do what they say their going to as a result of laziness and or just a short attention span.
(2). never following through on a task they have set for themselves due to laziness.
(3). saying their going to do something then changing their mind a few moments later finding every obstacle possible to feed into their constant laziness.
guy: " That snow man is giving me the evils...I'm gunna kick it's ass...but its cold out there so im just gonna play xbox...and the door is locked and im to lazy to deal with that tonight..then i'd have to walk..which is just totally out of the question...i don't even wanna play xbox anymore...im just gonna sit here. i really need to stop being a counterproductive procrastinator one of these days or i'm gonna get nowhere."
What does "counterproductive" mean?
Any advertisement that causes the viewer to boycott the product rather than purchase it. They usually cause people to cringe with disgust when they see them. This does NOT include the Snuggie and the Shamwow T.V. ads(and a few select others) because they were so over the top, which made people want to buy them as a joke.
Snorgtees, The General Insurance, That new evil Cheeto's Cheetah, Mr. Mucus Mucinex, That one fungus commercial with the animated green blob living under your toenail, various internet spam popups, Head On, and many more depending on viewer opinion.

Counterproductive - what does it mean?
Those lame,local TV ads that drive customers away due to their amateurish,home-made,ridiculous,and downright embarrassing nature. Typically a low budget advertisement featuring the business owner dressed up as a clown,a king or a mattress. Often features the business owners kids or other family members.
Those Mister Mattress TV spots are counterproductive advertising.I'd never buy anything from that fool.
