So it is to be wampus.

A person acting entirely out of self-interest to the extreme detriment or inconvenience of others is said to be Dark wampus; those who abuse wamposity in the pursuit of extraordinarily murderous or perverse affairs are spoken of in hushed tones, truly they are the practitioners of the forbidden art of Black wamposity.
