What is The Stranger?
The fictional world in the Ace Combat series of games. It is a world based off of our planet Earth but has different continents with those continents being Anea and Verusa in the Western Hemisphere, Osea and Usea in the Eastern Hemisphere and Antarctica(The only real world continent) in the South Pole. It is not the official name for the world,(technically the world is unnamed) but fans named it this due to a trailer for Ace Combat 04: Shattered Skies saying that the game is set in "a strange, real world". It is beautiful and it is fun to fly over the numerous mountains, jungles, deserts, plains, forests and cities.
Strangereal is one of the best fictional worlds in video games.

The origins of the Stranger may be a reference to Albert Camus' novel of the same name (in French LāĆtranger) however is it also likely to be a reference to a sex act in which one sits on one's hand or arm until it is numb and masturbating.
