What is Punxsy?
Abbreviation for Punxsutawney, a borough in western Pennsylvania home to "Punxsutawney Phil", a groundhog said to predict whether spring is just around the corner or if there are six more weeks of winter, depending on whether he saw his shadow, every February 2nd. Despite having a 50/50 chance of getting it right, Phil only has a 39% accuracy rate. Nevertheless, Groundhog Day is taken very, very seriously by the townspeople.
