A horrible place that is filthy, ugly, and the hallways smell like the bathrooms. Teachers here are known to be some of the most uptight in the area and will ruin your life throughout your 4 dreadful years here. There's even a gym teacher that makes his students write essays for his class. The vice principal seems to enjoy giving detentions to innocent students that just want to have some fun and make the best out of the situations they are given. The people here are tools and will make your life miserable for all 4 years you are here. They are not friendly in the slightest bit, and they are rude and obnoxious. The athletic programs are some of the worst run in the area, and the athletic director is overpayed and he is the biggest dick you ever meet. If you have the opportunity to go to school somewhere else, do it!

Holmdel High School: HHS also known as the worst place on earth... It's a living hell. There's absolutily nothig to do.
More than half of the students are preppy white rich spoiled assholes who haven't worked a day in their lives. The teachers turn into heartless monsters from dealing with them almost everyday from their sad God given lives.
Since the school and town is so god damn boring, when something goes the slightest bit wrong BOOM the principle, the vice principles, the hall monitors, the middle school staff, parents, EVERYONE jumps into action as if someone were about to blow up the school... It's beyond ridiculous.
Holmdel high school is only liked by 2 types of people ,people who don't know outside of Holmdel and have lived here their whole lives and parents since Holmdel high school is in the "top 250" in the nation (becusse all of the smart ass Asians) . HOLMDEL AND HOLMDEL HIGH SCHOOL IS ONE BIG HUGE FUCKING JOKE... Oh and the parties are just horrendous i can't even rant about that

What does "Holmdel" mean?
A traditional annual contest held and organized by the students of Holmdel High School in New Jersey without the supervision of staff members (who are aware). Every year around early spring, the upperclassmen guys brainstorm the hottest girls in the school (usually consisting of a female teacher or two) and create a bracket. Likewise, the upperclassmen girls get together and come up with the best looking guys. Ongoing for approximately a month, multiple "contestants" are eliminated weekly based on who's hotter than who and this is determined by hearing out the students' opinions. This bracket is posted and updated on a website and the website is taken down at the end of the contest. There are typically loads of kids carrying a printed copy with them in school and sharing it with their friends, but the staff stays on the lookout and if they catch you with the bracket in your hand, you automatically get a detention. In the end, you're virtually crowned best looking girl and guy of the school, but you don't win anything except an ego boost.

Holmdel is a town in New Jersey. Most people know of it only because of the PNC Bank Arts Center. Holmdel has huge houses, each with a basketball hoop even if there are no kids living in the house. While driving you'll see THE nicest cars until a random deer decides to pop out of nowhere. If you live in Holmdel you know of the following: BestBuy, the smell of skunk, how to illegally access the parkway, roadkill, the mysterious Emu one town over that are supposed to be extinct, HHS sucks, the red flashing lights on Bethany for the train don't necessarily mean stop because the damn train takes an hour to get there - but who is stupid enough to try and cross the tracks with the arms down anyway, there is a local Sears you pass by every now and then, but never go in, you've gone well over the speed limit on South Holland, and your business is everyone else's in a matter of five seconds. The best things to do in Holmdel are ... oh, that's right, nothing.

A township in Monmouth County, New Jersey. It is a suburb of New York City. To many people, Holmdel is considered to be a haven near "the top of the pyramid" for the upper middle class. Many families in Holmdel neighbor elite status compared to the rest of America. Keep in mind there are a few working class families in Holmdel as well.
If you can make enough money to maintain a home between Bethany Road, The train tracks, Laurel avenue, Middletown Road, Crawfords Corner, 520, Rt. 34, and Line Road you can expect much privacy and beautiful landscapes.
The school systems are overrated. It is better to send your kids to a private school.
Many children grow up complacent because there family's are so well off. Then, the school system ignores many children and only students who are gifted in some extraordinary way get the attention. Instead of developing each student to work hard and realize their full potential, they ignore kids and let them fail. When these children get into middle school and high school they meet drug dealers and get in trouble with the law. The school system has no idea how to help these cases, and because of this, the town will face some adversity in the near future.
Law Enforcement in Holmdel is in abundance. It is difficult to go more than a day without seeing a police car. Many police officers are confrontational and aggressive. Others are very helpful.
Holmdel has its share of problems, but if you can sustain a home in Holmdel it could be beneficial.
