What is Garry's Mod?
Garry's Mod is a Half-Life 2 modification. It was created by the most brilliant British coder (cunt) who goes by the name of Garry, who made the bare bones of the mod an ugly interface on top of Valve's engine that took him 11 versions to get it right and left the community to do the rest. The primary use of Garry's Mod is to entertain creative people. Unfortunately, a majority of the community is under the age of 12 and most of the time not creative.

What does "Garry's Mod" mean?
Garrys mod. Known to plenty as Gmod. A modification for Half life 2 in which allows you to spawn any object or ragdoll from the game Half Life 2, and now Counterstrike Source. Lately, Garry has been getting really bad at programming Garrys mod, and now a player cannot change his or her spray, or model without going through the cfg file, and many people complain about that, and usualy end up banned on Garrys forum, because Garry doesn't want to hear it. Garry has become a stuck-up prick over time, and trash-talks plenty of people. There is a modification for Gmod out there called Ultimate Garrys Mod, making Gmod much more fun, user friendly, and adds many more things such as NPC spawning.
Shortly after UGMs release, Garry implemented many of UGMs concepts, but some of them failed. Once again, UGM comes to the rescue, but Garry later on releases Gmod v8, the most terrible version known to man. Many bugs, such as the problems with the spray, and models bit I mentioned above. He shortly releases a bug fix for v8, but it too is terrible, such as very long loading times just to name one. It does much better than v8, but, like before, there were still plenty bugs. Again, later on, Garry releases v8.3b. It's much better than 8.3a, but still the model and spray bugs weren't fixed. But the loading times were, so one problem solved. Except now, the NPC feature doesn't work, which is a real pain in the ass. Oh Garry, when will you stop being lazy and get around to listening to the people, and fixing your errors?

Garry's Mod - what does it mean?
Garry's Mod, also known as GMod, is a...well, mod of Half-Life 2. You get to mess around with an almost infinite amount of objects in an almost infinite amount of maps. The possibilities are literally endless.
There's also a couple game modes, including but not limited to:
-Hide and Seek; exactly what it sounds like.
-Prop Hunt; A couple players try to blend in with the map by becoming various objects while the others try to find and kill them.
-Guess Who: Prop Hunt, but with player models and special abilities.
-Trouble in Terrorist Town (TTT): The OG Among Us with guns.
Deathrun: One player is "Death." The other players have to dodge various traps triggered by "Death," and try to make it to the end of the map.
Garry's Mod was popularized by VanossGaming and his friends after they migrated from GTA V. It is still popular seventeen years after its release, and probably will remain that way until whenever Garry's Mod 2 comes out.

Possibly the best sandbox game in the universe. Created in 2005 by Garry Newman for a little joke, as a Half Life 2 mod. Turned out a massive success and being published as an entire game to the Steam Store. It is one of the most popular games on Steam. It uses a modified Source game engine to run and allows you to do pretty much anything. Low system requirments, high fps, lots to do, easy to get mods, over 100,000 mods. Best game ever.

Garry's Mod - definition
A mod of which the community once thrived, now ruined by the hordes of 10 year olds with sethhack and devnull. One can no longer have fun in Garry's Mod because Seth ruined it.
Sethhack users have the ability to grab your IP and use a DDoS tool called "devnull" made by Stan that Seth helps market to the children. So you cannot have an anti-cheat to stop sethhack, Seth and his minions will simply DDoS your server. You cannot have active admins to ban them, they will DDoS your server and your admins. You cannot call them out or make just make the game bad for them, they will just DDoS you. You cannot prop trap or counter the sethhack users in any way, they just DDoS you. Sethhack has awakened the once subtle cancer in Garry's Mod, and it will never go away. Seth has damaged the community so much it is now in a unrepairable state. If Sethhack were to go down it would soon be replaced, then Stan would sell devnull on that forum. It would be the same.

Garry's Mod
A modification of the game Half-Life 2. It allows you to experiment with the game's physics engine by posing ragdolls or building vehicles out of random objects. It also allows you to paint any ragdoll or object and you can change the physical properties of the object or ragdoll.

Garry's Mod or GMod is a modification for the Source game engine. It is a nonlinear physics and role playing video game that allows the player to manipulate objects and experiment with physics.
Garry's Mod was created in 2004 by Garry Newman's Team of Developers. It started out as a mod that allowed users to rope things to go together, and it made the pistol shoot out manhacks and other things to build. Since then, the game has gone through various versions, adding more and more features until it became the game based mod it is today. After the tenth version of Garry's Mod, the mod was no longer referred by its number and just called Garry's Mod.
Garry's Mod allows players to manipulate props from any Source engine game installed on their computer (or ones created by the community) using the Physics Gun, or Physgun, a blue version of Half-Life 2's Gravity Gun (the same model as the Super Gravity Gun at the end of Half Life 2 as well as some parts of Half-Life 2: Episode One) that allows objects to be picked up from any distance, adjusted in mid-air and frozen in place. A second, multi-purpose gun called the Tool Gun can perform many tasks such as weld objects together or rope them together with ropes or controllable winches, plus hanging lights and lamps, doors and buttons, or whatever the community is able to code it to perform.
