What is Charybdis?
Acting a little bit cheeky and devious. Causing mischief.
I hit the griddy in Ikea the other day, I was being so charybdis.

Charybdis - what is it?
Stuck in a situation where you face two dangers on either side of you, and moving away from one danger would be moving closer to the other.
Taken from Homer's Odyssey, in which Odysseus and his men must sail in between two ancient sea-monsters/Gods.
"If I tell her I like her, she'll get too clingy, but if I don't tell her anything, she might think I'm not interested. I'm really between Scylla and Charybdis here"
What does "Charybdis" mean?
1. A refrence to Homer's Odyssey, in which Odysseus and his men encounter two hazzards on either side of the Strait of Messina. One is Scylla, the six headed sea beast, and the other is Charybdis, a massive whirlpool.
2. Being caught between a rock and a hard place.
"I was caught between Cylla and Charybdis. My only choices were to miss out on the dance or go with that nerd."
Charybdis - what does it mean?
Big ass sea monster. Eats ships and people.
Did you see that movie about the Oddyssy? Holy crap, Charybdis was a big ass sea monster!
