What is Brocore?
A word used to describe the jocks and "bros" (preppy faggots) that come to punk, hardcore, etc. concerts/shows. The brocore kids usually stand out from the rest because of their hollister hats accompanied by a hot-topic shirt of the band that happens to be playing. They usually stand in the back wankin it.

What does "Brocore" mean?
It is a style of music, and a style of dressing.
The music is generally made up of 'beatdowns'.
It originated in Northern California, and is associated with hardcore. Also with dinocore.
The style of dressing is close to hardcore: camo shorts, basketball shorts, levis, band shirts, baller caps, vans.
Gauged ears generally go with the look.
Brocore in Southern California refers to something completely different in style, in that case it means like BMX/MX bros. With dickies and high socks. Thing metal melisha.

Brocore - meaning
Brocore: The act of listening to and/or being a part of any local/national Nu-Metal scene. Usually one who is brocore dresses in all black, with giant jeans that look like dresses (tattered at the feet, of course). Can often be found wearing a Korn t-shirt.

Brocore - definition
Brocore-peeps often listen to the hardest styles of metal.
They listen to Deathcore/Hardcore/Metalcore and prefer the raw sound of low-tuned guitars, incomprehensible and monstrous singing (Most oftenly: Low Screams, but also high screams, grunts and pig squeals) And fast drums.
But Brocore goes further than only a music-style.
They often wear band shirts (Preferably black).
Black (Or checkered) Sweatbands for their wrists or spiked bracelets.
A Baseball cap (New era caps for example)
Vanz (That's like a must, All stars is more Emo/brootal kid)
Preferably Mesh shorts, but shorts of any kind will do.
Why T-shirts and Shorts? Because your going to want to show your tattoos (Dms/fsu crew)
sometimes gauged ear plugs.
And preferably a shaved head for your nigger cap to fit well (Oh and maybe a dash of stubble)
Often wimps want to go Brocore but Brocore is all about being tough, mentally AND physically.
Brocore are the hardest of hardest, if you want to go Brocore you must see pain as something you can turn on and off. Brocore aren't afraid of shit. A lot of them are moshers to or like to BMX.

What has now become an form of music an culture of mostly white males (other races are of course included) whos only purpose is to churn out the exact same style of music and culture that they have seen in magazine ads and at brocore shows. Not defined this way by the people who advocate and participate in it, they are fully convinced they are playing hardcore.
Dress:
-Yes they essentially have a uniform that consists of
Train driver caps/ball caps backwards
Brocore bands shirts, or other "hardcore" bands
mesh shorts , or baggy pants (preferably camo)
Wrist sweat bands(sometimes)
Gauged ears (as is keeping with trendy magazine ads)
Shaved heads/fauxhawks
vans(or other shoes they can pull out of context)
Brocore bands hoodies, (hood up of course)
Music:
-Highly repetitive guitar riffs in either drop-d or drop-c repeated over and over with 1 big meat finger across the fret board
-Break downs as much as possible(I.E. half time of the same repeated over and over again)
-a singer that attempts to sound as masculinely caveman as possible and just paces around the stage looking angry/constepated
-lyrics about how tough you are and how your bros are going to back you up (I.E. help you gang up on someone)
-imitate as closely as you can any other band of the brocore or detuned "hardcore" scene from the 90s and on
-a complete perversion of the origional hardcore punk that accidently birthed it
Culture:
-said to have came from northern california but seemingly easily spread to any city in any town, as brocore is a formula not a musical movement of any kind
-mostly males whose only purpose is to act as "tough" as is possible this includes but is not limited to;
flailing your arms around in a mass crowd of people
not "giving a fuck" about anyone but yourself and bros
flexing your muscles around people
looking as angry as is possible
crossed arms, hood up, blank expression
disregard for whoever you hurt, especialy women
- very closely resembles the pesky skin-head nazi punks of the 80s and 90s (without the racism, but with the supremecy)
would go as far as saying they are modern day skinheads
-anything that is not brocore refered to as for "faggots"
-anyone who disagrees with brocore/brocore people are "fags"
-general homophobia
-also is exactly like the jock mentality very common in highschool that excludes anyone who doesnt fully conform to their viewpoints and actions
