Sniffers - what is it?
A person who seeks a homoerotic friendship with a already documented and established ('made') Jock-Sniffer of an amateur athlete, coach, or parent of the athlete. Jock Sniffer-Sniffers routinely frequent college football message boards seeking their targets
Mark wants to be a jock sniffer, but he does not have the comnnections to the athletes or the coaches. So he hangs out with established or 'made' Jock Sniffers, Larry and Burl, who claim to know athletes and/or coaches. Mark's worship of Larry and Burl creates the Jock Sniffer-Sniffer relationship.
What does "sniffers" mean?
A sniffer, also commonly referred to as an "ass kisser," is one whom, basically, can't leave a person alone. A sniffer, will perform such actions as, following one around, calling or texting someone to almost no end, over complimenting a person to gain one's attention, and paying frequently unexpected visits to one's home.
Sniffers can be commonly noticed at parties, events, family functions, in the work environment, and most social gatherings.
