What does "ripped up" mean?
rip it up (verb. rip) 1. A term which commands one to literally rip apart a piece of material.
2. A command or suggestion to rip apart one's material (performance or practiced routine).
3. A command or suggestion to a person to perform competitively to a much higher degree of skill above the current competition.
4. A command to set a new standard of excelence.
5. A suggestion to introduce a newly profound and exciting atmosphere in liue of boring, dull or un-lively circumstances.
"Damm, These people think this is dancing, yo, go in there and rip it up. Show them how it's done."

Ripped up - meaning
This is a term often yelled by chavs to the retreating/wandering away backs of anyone who they feel they have just beaten at a round of verbal sparring/who has fallen foul of another person's wit or what the chavs take as wit, but is actually exasperation (this is much more likely, as it is very hard to be beaten by a chav at a round of come backs). Sic can either mean very very good or very very bad, and in this instance it causes this phrase to be translated as 'You just got thoroughly beaten in a slanging match'. It is also used when a chav has to buy time to look up in a dictionary what you just called them, or when they think that they have won an argument.
Example 1
Normal person: Would you mind passing me a ruler?
chav 1: Yer MUM!
chav 2: HA HA HA, you just got ripped up sic! *proceeds to do that intensely annoying thing that they do when they hold their hand above their head and make their fingernails click together*

Jimmy (Normal person): Sir, sir, what does 'assonance' mean?
Teacher: And that's why you're in the bottom set, Jimmy - we've been covering this for five lessons. Please pay more attention.
Chav: (No idea what assonance is either, but couldn't care less) HA HA, you just got ripped up sic! *immensely annoying hand thing*

The phrase 'ripping up the prem' originated in Bexhill, England. As a way of telling others that one has achieved a goal,done something remarkably good or has had a DAMN GOOD TIME.
Person 1: "Whats up?"
Person 2: "Nothin much, just been ripping up the prem."

A state of being exceedingly intoxicated through the consumption of hideous amounts of alcohol. Derives from the predictive text system used by mobile phones which has 'ripped' as the second (borno) word to appear when one enters the number combination 747733, meaning to enter 'pissed'. When out on the lash this word invariably ends up as 'ripped' because either the phone user cannot see the phone screen through the alcoholic fug or even sees three (borno) phones. Consequently, 'on the ripper' describes the intention to consume, or the physical act of consuming, extreme amounts of fermented liquids prior to the 'ripped up' state. Hence, 'The Yorkshire ripper', 'Sutcliffed', 'Jack the ripper', can all be used as synonyms.
