What is puppy syndrome?
Puppy fart syndrome is when a person is shocked or woken by their own fart.
I was enjoying a good meal with family and friends when I let out a small cough, but also let rip with a huge fart. This made me jump and quickly leave the room.
I was just drifting off to sleep when I let out a loud fart and woke up startled at the loud noise.
Puppy fart syndrome can happen to us all occasionally.

Puppy syndrome - what is it?
When a person just out of a relationship jumps into a new relationship quickly. Similar to the situation in which a beloved dog dies, so the person gets a new puppy to replace the lost dog.
"Wow, she didn't take long to find a new man, it's only been a week since her ex left her."
"Yeah, she definitely has New Puppy Syndrome."
What does "puppy syndrome" mean?
Feeling of drowsiness after a good meal

When one who is in a relationship finds themselves constantly looking around for their significant other at seemingly random times in hopes the other will randomly appear.
Also used when texting, where there is a lull in the conversation and you finds yourself staring at your phone or checking it often to see if a new text has arrived that you somehow missed in the 3 seconds since you last checked.

1. An intense need for constant companionship or affection.
2. A relationship where one or both people is completely codependent on the other and cannot bear to let them leave their side.
Girl 1: "Aww, that girl from our Spanish class is crying because her boyfriend is out of town..."
Girl 2: "That's total Sad Puppy Syndrome."
Puppy syndrome
One who finds themselves only dating people who have issues that they feel like they could solve.
A person who is only attracted to people that have problems(drug addiction/abusive parents/ect.) and thinks they could protect and nurture them back to happiness.
Jenny has lost puppy syndrome, her last boyfriend was a recovering addict and now shes dating a guy that was raped by his own dad. She thinks she can change him, too bad the last one went back to drugs.
Puppy syndrome
A condition where a person, who is typically picked on and made fun of, develops a deep crush on the first person who is nice to them. Named after the tendency for beaten dogs to follow around people who feed them. APS is characterized by:
-The writing of long love letters and notes, signing them as "Secret Admirer"
-The following of the nice person around the halls of your school, office building, or any other place where people assemble
-Excessive staring
-Writing the nice person's name over and over and over again
-Efficaciousness
-Awkward smiling
Nice Person: I defended that nerdy girl in front of a couple football guys and now she keeps staring at the back of my head in Math!
Nice Person's friend: I told you not to get involved, now you've got a full-blown case of Abused Puppy Syndrome on your hands.

When you make out with someone in a club, and they don't fucking leave you alone all fucking night. They follow you around, everywhere, with puppy eyes, expecting to kinda fucking marry you.
