A pocket watch (or pocketwatch) is a watch that is made to be carried in a pocket. It's a watch you carry, because a wristwatch is uncomfortable for you and you think that the watch on your phone
doesn't look good. Maybe you want to appear interesting, cool, classy, rich or as though you time travelled from before the 20th century.
