GEM and the Holograms is a fine organization well known for it's primary bottom line - treat people with respect. The rule is waived after you contribute several years of service. Only then can you be well respected for your skills and experience. Once you've made the "Girl's Club" you have the honor and privelage to call others derogatory names in a large group setting and belittle those who may threaten your job because you're under qualified. And when I say "Girl's Club" I really mean "Boy's Club".
Boss: I don't care if you did an exceptional job. My management consider it showing off. And, I don't care if you saved the company money. Nothing is more important to us than protecting the feelings of those who are underqualified in their respective positions. You must suffer the consequences for doing excellent work!

Holograms - what is it?
A player in Halo: Reach who acts as stupid as a hologram. This can sometimes lead to another player disregarding this poor soul.

What does "holograms" mean?
A deeply complex and esoteric conceptual phrase that only the illest of rappers understand, or even can begin to contemplate. If anyone claims that they understand it, and they're not closely related to the underground hip-hop groups, Jedi Mind Tricks or Army of the Pharaohs , they are simply lying, whilst displaying a dumbfounding concentration of arrogance and ignorance. This act of blasphemy is punishable by stoning in many parts of the world and particularly, in the underground hip-hop scene.
More specifically, some of the illest rappers today speculate that only the main member of Jedi Mind Tricks and AOTP, Vinnie Paz understands its true meaning. Another respected school of thought states that even Vinnie Paz does not understand it; but the esoteric knowledge is merely channeled through him by the underground hip-hop gods, further taunting us to oblivion by suicide.
Secondary Definition: Ikon the Verbal Hologram is one of the many aliases of Vinnie Paz, leader and co-founder of Jedi Mind Tricks/AOTP. To date, no scholar or ill rapper knows what Ikon means either; because its meaning is intrinsically tied to The Verbal Hologram, thus making it too deep for any mortal to follow.
