What is Work?
Something that separates you from the norm of lazy assholes. It is a task you must do that supposedly sticks to a fixed schedule when really it doesn't, and keeps you from communicating with any friends for long periods of time.
It also provides a solution to the awkwardness when someone stalking you wishes to call you, because you can't pick up your cell phone.

Work - what is it?
Work by Joshua Jones – a word, an entity, a being created at the beginning of time which require individuals or organizations to accomplish tasks, for a reward, that others do not want to do. It creates a monogamist approach to our minds where we are forced to enter the office and perform a single task over and over again, or until facebook or a stupid computer games pries away from another meaningless duty, limiting our independent thought to that of a simple machine. An escape from your wife, an underpaid way to pass time, a place to make single serving friends, some of which you talk badly about behind their backs cause they simply suck, all because we want material items that we can use for (hopefully) 48 carefree hours known as the weekend. Even better, a place to beat the system, make the money, use it to get drunk, get laid, and buy things for the now, and take 4 day weekends because the office thinks you’re on important meetings… I’m good at the work I choose to do.

What does "Work" mean?
A never ending cycle of paying someone else to do something they them selfs are not willing to do.
OR!
Just that thing you do stay alive, and that little money you saved you spend for someone else to do something your not willing to do.
After Taxes and filling up your tank of gas, you realize you just worked 3 hours just to be able to afford go and get back from work
Work - what does it mean?
1) a way to finance operations hustlin
2) performing an intimate activity with another individual, preferabbly of the opposite sex.
A) considered overtime if you did actually work according to definition 1) within a 3 hour time frame, if it involved multiple co-workers (play on player), or if it occured within 3 hours of your last work session according to definition 2).
3) Doing Work. The actual process of working.
4) Do work. a generally accepted phrase comment or even motion (nod, wink, thumbs up (if you're a $!%), hip hip hooray or other non verbal comment) from an associated party (non-co-worker) promoting your choice of work.

The most prominent term for a needle on the urban streets of Philly. It is used for injecting heroin and other drugs.
The editors at urban dictionary are so out of touch with real urban slang that they don't know a work is used to mainline diesel.
On Christopher Columbus Day I wake up to fix my work with sambuca, mainline a shot, then down a black bitch cause it's sambuca day, ya bish.
The urban dictionary editors should mix a speedball of that soft white girl with some diesel from the "old potato chip factory" in the badlands and drawl it up in their work, get really fuckin turned up, and get the fuck out of their air conditioned offices, so they can find out what the " urban" words people use really are.
