A Chinese-run shopping platform that sells incredibly cheap items, both price-wise and quality-wise. It is a junkyard for cheap generic crap that will probably break or malfunction within 2 days. Also uses the most economical shipping method so expect the crummy item to arrive in 2-4 months. The platform also uses very deceptive marketing techniques. For example they label some items as "free" under the condition of paying for shipping (in reality, they just disguised the real price of the item as the shipping free).
People tend to rationalize the inferior quality with the low price, but honestly you can find much better quality products on Aliexpress with the same low price.
My friend: Just bought these $2 pair of generic earbuds from wish.com but it sounded like crap and only lasted 2 days.
Me: Bro why are you using wish.com? Delete that shit and just use Aliexpress instead. With Aliexpress you are getting access to a wider variety and selection of items which includes high quality items from well-established Chinese brands. They are also crazy cheap too!
