TDS stands for Trump Derangement Syndrome. It's a disease that affects some democrats which drives them insane whenever they hear the word "Donald" or "Trump". Disliking Donald Trump for a valid reason is not TDS but going insane whenever hearing his name mentioned is.

While the name is meant to have pejorative connotations the actual condition is characterized primarily by behaviors found in in "cult of leader" or "cult of personality" scenarios.
