Perhaps some of you should do a tiny bit of research?
Anabolic steroids, also known as anabolic-androgenic steroids or AAS, are a class of steroid hormones related to the hormone testosterone. They increase protein synthesis within cells, which results in the buildup of cellular tissue (anabolism), especially in muscles. Anabolic steroids also have androgenic and virilizing properties, including the development and maintenance of masculine characteristics such as the growth of the vocal cords and body hair. The word anabolic comes from the Greek: anabole, "to build up", and the word androgenic comes from the Greek: andros, "man" + genein, "to produce".
The non-medical use of anabolic steroids is controversial because of their adverse effects and their use to gain potential advantage in competitive sports. The use of anabolic steroids is banned by all major sporting bodies, including the WTA, ITF, International Olympic Committee, FIFA, UEFA, the National Hockey League, Major League Baseball, the National Basketball Association, the European Athletic Association and the National Football League.
(Please note how baseball was not the only sport mentioned)
Anabolic steroids are controlled substances in many countries, including the United States (U.S.), Canada, the United Kingdom (UK), Australia, Argentina and Brazil, while in other countries, such as Mexico and Thailand, they are freely available. In countries where the drugs are controlled, there is often a black market in which smuggled or counterfeit drugs are sold to users.
The reason that AAS has got such a bad name attached to it now is because of media producers who know just as much about the topic as the people writing these stupid definitions. Mind you, most of them, we filled with spelling errors which would reflect the lack of your intellegence.
There is a list for all those who are scared to look at a steroid because they heard their friends mom's brother in-law saying that it shrinks your testicles. But, oh, since he was wise enough to make that accusation he must also know that there are things called "aromatization inhibitors". And what those do is keep the test as test and disallow it to aromatise and become estrogen or dht.
1. natural chemicals that occur in the body (also can be manufactured) and help build upmuscle tissue.
2. jimmy juice
3. what rats use to fight each other (really, look it up)
A performance enhancing drug that causes large amounts of muscle growth very quickly, when used right.
A common myth is that people's balls will shrink when they use them, but the truth is that those people already had small testicles to begin with, thus their reason for taking steroids.
Synthetic forms of testosterone, anabolic/androgenic in nature, which, when researched, scrutinized, and applied correctly via the oral, injectable, or transdermal routes in combination with a well-planned and executed diet, consistently intense and strictly methodical gym work, and regular sleep patterns, will, to varying degrees and depending largely upon genetics, produce a physique possessing a state of musculature seldom witnessed outside the realm of hormonal enhancement.
Based upon the extreme and relatively sudden hypertrophy of my girlfriend's trapezius muscle, I'm willing to wager my wife's collection of rare porcelain dolphins that she's secretly undertaken a course of steroids.
