What does "Something Awful" mean?
A popular humor site that's mildly amusing at times, but is more often either retarded and incomprehensible or just tastless, callous, and mean-spirited.
The SA "goons" were recently suicide baiting a depressed guy who threatened to kill himself in his livejournal by posting hundreds of nasty comments begging for him to do it. They also seem to think the tsunamis in Asia that killed 150,000 people were somehow amusing. Yeah, this is me not laughing you jackasses.
Something Awful - what does it mean?
An asinine web forum for people who think 80,000+ people getting killed by a tsunami in Sri Lanka is Comedy Gold. They like to post oh-so-HILARIOUS Photoshopped pictures of people getting drowned by tidal waves.

Of course, it's not so funny when some pathetic goon's relatives died. Then they offer lame "goondolences" and shit.

Features Photoshop.. features, mockeries of other forums, movie/game/hentai reviews, email/ICQ pranks, legal battles, Fashion SWAT, Horrors of Porn and Untitled Document among others. Seems to drive certain people on UrbanDictionary insane with loathing. Content fluctuates between mildly funny and comedy gold. Has fairly extensive forums. Also known for the sarcastic phrase 'the internet is serious business'.
Damn, a lot of people bash Something Awful on UrbanDictionary.
Something Awful - definition
A lame website with even lamer forums. However, if you by any chance like feminazi mods, forum downtime from comically inept script writers, MS paint, pathetic personal e/n stories, fat nerds with neckbeards, extra features that cost money and are usually broken, circle jerk threads, smug, whiny rich kids, unfunny spamboards (BYOB), and people who can't take a joke or laugh at themselves, then this is the forum for you.
Something Awful was cool......back in 2002.
Something Awful - slang
A comedy website that was funny about 6 years ago. Has grown into a sprawling mess of arrogance, petulence and tired pseudo-irony. Still has the occasional gem but more often than not misses the mark with its rambling 'comedy' diatribes and just plain depressing forums.
Inclusion of angsty teenager David Thorpe just demonstrates how low the website has sunk.

A comedy website run by Rich "Lowtax" Kyanka which is known for being the last bastion of completely irreverent humor. I mean, come on, face it, anything can be funny if you look at it the right way. Remember - tragedies kill people, laughing at tragedies doesn't.
