What is Lurker?
Somebody who enjoys occasional drug use and quietly keeps to himself in the crowd. He Lurks from town to town trying to get down on whatever he had found. From Clifton to D-Hill, he'll pop most any pill, to satisfy his will.

Lurker - what is it?
A fictitious burrowing organism of the Zerg race, belonging to the Starcraft universe. Lurkers are born from the metamorphosis of a hydralisk.
A swarm of overlords dropped a dozen lurkers in my base. No SCVs survived.
What does "Lurker" mean?
noun. When you are swimming and a Charlie Horse (aka a cramp) is not quite hurting yet, but it will flare up if you kick wrong.

Lurker - what does it mean?
When you do have a face-to-face encounter with a lurker, conversation usually consists of really awkward tidbits that never develop into anything remotely meaningful or could also take on the form of an interview session, during which the lurker asks you a series of questions to which he clearly knows the answers to, as made evident through his history of extensive stalking. Encounters with lurkers leave all women with an incredibly overwhelming sense of awkward displeasure.
Tip: Women -Avoid lurkers at all costs ; Men - Never become a lurker.

When you follow the conversation of two people who are your 'friends' on a social networking site such as facebook whilst not actually participating in the conversation. A digital version of eavesdropping.
NB: Anything you say to people on facebook through the comment system really isn't private.

Lurker - slang
One who creeps relentlessly, usually used to refer to males who will contact a female more than 3 times a day through Facebook, Myspace, Text, Calling, and Instant messaging. The female must not be interested.
Powerful Zerg unit, upgraded from Hydralisks costing 100 Vespene Gas and 50 Minerals. Effective on ground units only, utilized best with stacking at entrance way to base. Low hp/armor but when burrowed, will not appear on opponent's screen unless observer/overlord is present.

A lurker is someone who always just seems to be there, no matter where it is.
You always expect them to be there, because they pop up out of no where.
A lurker will often try and play it off as a joke when you confront them, but it's not a joke.

Lurker
Someone who "lurks" around an Internet forum, only reading and never posting. "Lurking" is often the result of being too scared or lazy to register, and the term mostly applies to those who do not; however you do get the occasional member who doesn't post.
There are ALWAYS more lurkers than registered members.
