London is a city of about 360 000. It is situated in the heart of south-western Ontario. The downtown area is currently undergoing a major re-juvination. City Hall has put a lot of money into the new John Labatt Centre, to host the London Knights OHL hockey games. They also invested in a new public library which was voted the best in Ontario. London is a great place to live, and raise children. Just don't go down Buley St, Cascade St, or anywhere near Ontario St if you're not prepared to protect yourself. London is the friggin best city in all of Ontario.

What does "London Ontario" mean?
A city in south western Ontario. It was going to be the capital of Canada until the war of 1812 made it unsafe. Even though the British (including Canada) burnt down the white house and kicked America's ass. We thought It'd be safer to use Ottawa as our capital. It is a fairly large city divided up fairly geometrically. You know your from London if you know what EoA is. It's a decent city with plenty of bars and a bit of a hobo problem. But hey? that's what makes it interesting.

London Ontario - what does it mean?
London is a city in Southern Ontario. It is mostly populated by blue-collar, working class people. It does have a small, educated and rich minority who live mostly in the north, near the university or the Hyde Park area. Outsiders think that London a conservative city but in actuality it is very left-wing and socialist. People who offer essential services, like bus drivers, are known to go on strike at a moment's notice when they risk losing their $26/hour salary and lifetime benefits that would rival a civil servant's pension.
London's claims to fame include the University of Western Ontario, lots of trees and a "world class" hospital, though that doesn't change the fact that the emergency room has third world class waiting times.
Places to hang out include Richmond street and its many drinking establishments. There isn't exactly a vibrant night life. Fun is what you make of it.
Safety in London is not really an issue unless you're a drug dealer or a prostitute. Just don't venture into some areas EOA (East of Adelaide) and be careful when in areas like Kipps Lane and the White Oaks if you don't want to come across groups of immigrant kids who like to beat the shit out of people just for the fun of it.
Overall, London is one of those cities that is only worth living in because of you got a nice job or because you have to go to school there. Nobody moves to London because they are attracted to the London lifestyle, if there is such a thing.

London Ontario sucks ass. Everyone I have met from this city is either a hick, or a wigga. It is a tiny, pethetic version of Toronto (which in itself is a shitty town) which gained most of its current population by old Toronto WASPS moving their because they were affraid of Black people. The downtown is a hollowed out urban renual zone second only to Detroit (which is a much better city). The rest of the city is made up of identically malled intersections. Western is a shitty school where dumb sluts go to rope a dorky business student who is none the wiser to how many cocks she sucked in high school.

A kick butt town......it is a mini London England with a population of
365 000. We have a river named the Thames....which is dirrty then the lakes in Africa........We have a park named after Queen Victoria.....We have a horrible school board.
Our city has the most trees in the world.....we have one of the best unveristys in the world...and some of the best Hostipals in the world too.

A town near the America-Ontario border, about two hours away from Greater Toronto Area. Boring as heck, nothing exciting to do unless you live near Masonville and have way too much money. Strict as heck school board, they hire teachers from RMC. Friendly town, but e x t r e m e l y BORING, as stated before. Honestly can't wait to get out of here and move out for college.
