John Adams - what is it?

Some guy who got outswagged by Andrew Jackson in 1828.

John Quincy Adams had sick mutton chops but just couldn't compare to Andrew Jackson's level of swag.

What does "John Adams" mean?

A mediocre high school located on the east side of South Bend, Indiana, also known as a desolate shit hole. John Adams High School is best known for its one and only good program, Mock Trial. The legendary Michael Mann did not graduate from this school and regrets nothing about it. Many local comedy acts are preformed by the Football team during the Fall, and the wrestling team has won many porno awards. The current teaching staff is complete shit at best, with minor exceptions. Adams boast its IB program, which is the equivalent of putting a gold bar ontop of a dung pile infested with AIDS.

~Did anyone do Mr. Cotters history reading last night?

~ Wait...he started teaching already...fuck John Adams High School.

John Adams - definition

(b. Feb. 5, 1947) American composer and conductor. Probably one of the most frequently performed modern composer (not to mention the coolest). Famous for his operatic works, like Nixon in China.

John Adams is an awesome composer, and no, I'm not talking about that poser John Adams who was a president or whatever.

John Adams

Under rated and under appreciated near great president between George Washington and Thomas Jefferson. Adams was an honest and brillant president who established the American Navy and resisted attempts by partisians to push the young Republic into an unnecessary war. Putting integrity over politics, Adams kept many of the previous administrations appointments to the cabinet and other government offices. This proved to be a mistake as many of these officials mainted their loyality to Alexander Hamiltion and worked to undermine the Adams administration from with in. When Jefferson defeated Adams, in the election of 1800, it marked a peaceful transition of power. Something unheard of in most of the world at the time.

In recent years, historians have revised their view of John Adams.

John Adams

a. John Adams (1735-1826) 2nd president of the United States, he helped establish the primacy of the voter when he left office upon the election of an opponent of a rival political party (Jefferson); helped persuade the Continental Congress to adopt the Declaration of Independence; and understood the importance of a strong navy long before other American leaders. But he was often personally offensive and, further, pushed the Alien & Sedition Acts, making it a crime to criticize the president.

b. John Coolidge Adams (1947- ) a minimalist American composer, won the Pulitzer Prize for his choral work based on the 9/11 destruction of the World Trade Center, "On the Transmigration of Souls." A composer of operas, he is most widely known for his minimalist opera "Nixon in China."

c. John Couch Adams (1819–1892), a British mathematician and astronomer, predicted the existence of the planet Neptune, solely on the basis of mathematics and the laws of Newton and Kepler. The Royal Astronomical Society later awarded him its Gold Medal.

d. John Quincy Adams (1767–1848) 6th president of the United States and son of the 2nd, distinguished himself as an early opponent of slavery. But he was a one-term president, having entered office under the cloud of a shady bargain involving the electoral college. He died of a stroke while serving in Congress, in the same room as the young Abraham Lincoln who, unfortunately, had never the time to know and learn from him.

He's smart and offensive, a regular John Adams!
