A Japanese enclave within a large North American city. Used in the same manner as "Chinatown" or "Little Italy."

Nickname for Johnstown, Pennsylvania, a dying former steel-mill town with no future whatsoever. The only thing Johnstown is relatively famous for is the disastrous flood of 1889 that killed over 2,200 people.
Hopefully in 50 years J town will be DEAD.
