A guy who has a really nice home gym in either his basement or garage (predominately Rogue equipment) and who steers every conversation to his home gym. Also religiously watches every one of Coop's Garage Gym Reviews videos. Loves horse stall mats, his leaf blower and the fact that he can do curls in the squat rack without interruption.

The typical gym guy who spends most of his time in the gym fails to follow gym etiquette or is prone to bad gym habits. He is the charater-foil of a gym rat/pro, well-known for spending a lot of time in the gym but he does it efficiently.

A gym bro is a male whose entire personality is going to the gym, eating protein and lifting weights. Gym bros are obsessed with their own and others' appearance. They think they are extremely attractive and are often fat phobic and misogynistic. They may be aggressive towards women who are in gyms, which they consider "their" spaces, giving unwanted advice, leering or making unwanted sexual advances / comments to or about women while they exercise. They may become aggressive when challenged. Not all men who go to gyms are gym bros.
