A derivative of GDI ("God Damn Independent), "geed" is often used as a derogatory term by members of Greek life against others who are able to maintain a thriving social life without the burdens of the required conformity and monetary membership charges, whom they deem threatening.

A GEED is typically a social outcast who was bullied in high school and now lives in his musty dorm in college. He’ll spend all day playing his Nintendo switch or PC, talk smack about frat boys on Reddit , jerk off to anime porn, and will talk to a bunch of neck beards like himself on discord while us fraternity men bag hella chicks, drink the best liquor and beer, and leave college with the best jobs due to the connections we made in our fraternity. A geed is also the same person who write those anti- frat boy Urban Dictionary definitions probably due to the fact that a frat boy hooked up with their crush ;)
