What is Flogged?
Mainly S&M terminology, flogging is to use a whip for sexual enjoyment.
A 'flogger' shall remain for the moment 'any flexible many-tailed striking tool where the tails are simple strips of leather or similar substances, designed for use on the human body'.

A brilliant multi-purpose word:
1. (verb) to sell something. Generally the price is low or the goods are dodgy.
2. (verb) to lose a sporting match, usually football, by a huge margin
3. (verb) to masturbate. Sometimes extended to "flog the dog" or "flog the log".
4. (verb) to steal something
5. (verb) to assault somebody
6. (noun) a poser, someone who likes to big-note themselves. Relates back to (3).

What does "Flogged" mean?
An Australian variation of 'wanker'. Like a wanker, a flog is someone who is full of themselves and makes a point of letting everyone know. However, where a wanker's braggadocio may have some small basis in fact (eg. they say the are the best singer in town and they can actually sing pretty well), a flog's self-image is divorced from reality to a farcical degree (eg. they say the are the best singer in town and they sing completely off-key). A try-hard.
Note: Flog and wank are also synonyms in their more literal usage, as both words mean 'to masterbate'.
