Usually this is occupation is similar to police officers only firefighters are better looking, stronger, faster, smarter, and eat box on the reg. it is offensive to firefighters to confuse them with police officers as 10 times out of 10 firefighters are superior in every aspect.

Truckies - A firefighter who goes into a fire before the engine crew without any water and search for victims when the fire is the hottest and the smoke is the darkest.
Engine Bitches - A "firefighter" that goes into a fire after truck has vented and puts water on the fire.

A firefighter is one of the "Emergency Services", They are some of the most brave people, often risking their lives for someone elses, as with the police it is usually thankless unless you are the one who needs them.
