Dragonforce - what is it?
A good but overrated power metal band. Usually overrated By Stupid American Teens.
They have great potential to achieving more if they got out of the "fast" power metal scene.
Though 2008 They Have IMPROVED their live Performances.
Example: They are so fast. Herman Li is the Best EVER!

What does "Dragonforce" mean?
The most overrated band of all time whose lyrics are all about dragons and mystical knights and things that a 3 year old could think of. Their musical influences are the backround music in video games and they can't actually play the shitty music they write so when they record albums they play it at less than half the speed and speed it up with an accelerator. When they try to play their songs live, they end up sloppy and get many complaints from the audience. They aren't true metal in any way. They guitarist also can't reach far enough with his hands to play some of the songs so he has to put them over the neck rather than under.

Dragonforce - what does it mean?
A Power Metal band who are often criticised for their rise to success ironically after the appearance on Guitar Hero III. Some people hate them because they're too fast but metalheads show dislike to them due to their staged guitars. Herman Li has admitted to editing studio sessions and synthesizing notes.
Due to this, various Power Metal fans are arguing whether they "deserve" to be within the genre.
When performing live they are considerably worse than in the album. This infers that DragonForce do alter for better sounding.

Very good power metal band from London. Their songs consist of fast-paced guitar solos, fantasy-based lyrics and electronic sound effects to enhance the video game influenced music. Dragonforce is made up of vocalist ZP Theart, guitarists Herman Li and Sam Totman, bassist Frederic Leclercq, keyboardist Vadim Pruzhanov and drummer Dave Mackintosh. Produce excellent music such as "Through the Fire and Flames", "Heroes of Our Time" and "Black Winter Night"

Despite what some people say, Dragonforce is actually "good" judging the quality of their songs. But there are a lot of things that make them seem bad, and tempts me to say they suck, when they really don't. A big problem is their fans who don't know shit about guitar and look at them play guitar at really fast speed and think they they
are the best guitarists ever just because they play fast. Being skilled at guitar is NOT playing really really fast, it is being creative and being able to do things hardly anyone else can. Look at Jimi Hendrix, he played with his teeth for the love of Jesus! Dragonforce cannot play with their teeth (I'm not trying to insult Dragonforce, I'm just making a point that Jimi is a better guitarist.) And before any homo tries to give me a thumbs down, Jimi Hendrix is the best guitarist that ever lived, go to your music store (the people there know real music) and ask any employee who the best guitarist that ever lived was. They will all say Jimi Hendrix, no question. Also, a lot of their songs sound very much the same. Not all of them, but enough that would make people point it out. Also they get old. Even the Dragonforce fans have to admit their style gets old kind of quickly. Fast guitar playing gets boring after a while! And one last thing. Dragonforce is NOT the best band ever. Not even close. Once again, I'm not saying they're bad, they are good but there are much better bands.

Dragonforce is one of the most horrible, abysmal, atrocious bands ever. They are the exact reason why I hate 90% of most power metal. Just another lame and cheesy Iron Maiden/Judas Priest wannabe band who sings about slaying dragons in castles, with an extremely bad singer who has a high-pitched girly operatic voice, and WOW, their guitarist plays fast, woop de friggidy doo, doesnt mean he's good! Thankfully, in 2006 these assclowns were originally supposed to be on Gigantour, but of course they went to crappy Ozzfest instead.. Good, Gigantour is way too good of a fest to have such a horrid band as this- They deserve to be on SharonFest! Dragonforce sucks! If you're going to listen to power metal listen to Kamelot or Blind Guardian, and to the bastard that said "Forget Blind Guardian", Hansi Kursch should kick your ass for that! SORRY that he actually SINGS GOOD!!!!!!!!!!! and SORRY that Blind Guardian can actually sing about medieval/fantasy themes without sounding like a bunch of Final Fantasy-worshipping 10-year-olds! And to the loser who said "These solos make ejaculations unavoidable"... you are a pathetic, sorry excuse for a human!

An over-rated power metal band who's songs all sound exactly the same. Herman Li is not an amizing guitarist. Everything that he plays can be replicated by pretty much 75 percent of trained guitarists. All of his solos are uninteresting and have no soul. A lot of people think that because the song is dificult in guitar hero, they must be the greatest band ever. Also, they can't play their shit live.
Paul Gilbert would beat Dragonforce's guitarist in a guitar battle so easily that it would cause all Dragonforce fans to instantaniously piss themselves in unison.

Dragonforce is a power metal band that somehow managed to gain a huge fan base and a ton of media attention, even though better bands exist. Dragonforce isn't a terrible band, however their fan base has caused them to become vastly overrated, turning the group into one big fatass moon that is now blocking the better bands from coming into the light. Their vocalist also sounds like he needs to go to a different genre, as his voice doesn't fit metal at all. Dragonforces guitarists are quite talented actually, but they aren't quite as good as the fans make them out to be.
When recording in the studio, Dragonforce manages to achieve an epic feeling to their music, however their live performances are probably among the sloppiest of metal bands today.
