Definder - what does the word mean?

What is Cape Cod Academy?

I am going to CCA, and it is a beautiful school on Cape Cod. And guess what? I go there on a scholarship. many students have financial aid. I agree with NoHatingCCA because, you all are just jealous that we can get a better education while all you dumb losers get to go to public school. Did you all know that 100% of CCA students go onto college? And I don't mean Community College. No. I mean Tufts, Yale, Harvard, etc. For the people bagging CCA as a bunch of pompous rich A$$holes, I just want to ask that you make my burger nice and cooked through when you work at McDonalds.

Stop being jealous. Oh, and ever person I have met (And I have met a LOT of CCA students, considering there are only 300+ in K-12) and not ONE of them are arrogant.

Oh! Those children go to Cape Cod Academy (CCA)? They must be excellent in academics!

McDonald's Worker: *Sees CCA jacket* You went to CCA? You must be a rich jerk. *Laughs*
CCA Student: I went to CCA on a scholarship, I'm going to Tufts on a Scholarship, and where are you? Working at McDonald's. Who's Laughing now?

Cape Cod Academy - what is it?

A school in Cape Cod. We are taught a lot of things that most other schools aren't. Most people here are smart. No, our sports DON'T suck. Not all of us are what ALL of you think: "Preppy, rich, jerks who don't care about anyone's feelings." Although, few might be like that. But how is that any different compared to other schools? We might be higher-classed but that's not a reason to hate us. We don't ACT like we are better than everyone. Just because our school has a high tuition doesn't mean that everyone here is spoiled and rich. Many people are here on scholarships and don't have a lot of money. Also, not ALL of us are preppy. We basically HAVE to be preppy because we have a dress code! It is not our choice. I don't think anyone wants to dress in collared shirts everyday. Talk about boring.

Overall, CCA has its ups and downs. It is a normal school just like any other (Well except, we probably have higher academic standards).

So there you go people. STOP HATING! (It just shows how bored you are with your own dumb lives)

Does it REALLY bother you that we are able to afford Juicy Couture? I mean, come ON. How lame is that?

No jealousy...

LAME people.

That super-cool, nice, intelligent, awesomely dressed, polite girl must go to Cape Cod Academy (CCA).

Cape Cod Academy - meaning

A school where the students think they aren't snobby but make the assumption that the only people who go to public school do so because they can't afford a "better" education and will only make minimum wage their entire life. CCA is mainly full of MIDDLE-upper class kids who think that everyone is jealous of all their money. However, as the definitions stated most students are on financial aid and don't have as much money as they try to act like. Juicy Couture and Uggs are not high class.

Due to the fact that they are conceited, CCA students fail to realize that most of them are not that smart. Those that are did not get that way from the school - they're naturally intelligent and supplement their shitty education by studying from various outside sources. Very little of what is taught at CCA is useful. I was a top student throughout my eight year stay at CCA, and although I could spout off history about the Mayans, had the map of China memorized, and knew a ton of Latin I didn't know West Virginia was a state until I went to public school. I received a much higher quality education and got a huge reality check when upon transferring realized what a f*cking spoiled brat I was.

Quotes from CCA students' definitions on this site:

"I agree with NoHatingCCA because, you all are just jealous that we can get a better education while all you dumb losers get to go to public school."

"For the people bagging CCA as a bunch of pompous rich A$$holes, I just want to ask that you make my burger nice and cooked through when you work at McDonalds."

"Does it REALLY bother you that we are able to afford Juicy Couture? I mean, come ON. How lame is that? No jealousy... LAME people."

"We might be higher-classed but that's not a reason to hate us."

...... And they truly believe they're not snobby. :3

If you aren't horrified by the above quotes, then you should remain at Cape Cod Academy (CCA). If you are and have considered transferring but are too afraid to be in the public school system although I loved it I would additionally recommend Falmouth Academy (as you may notice their page has no bullshit drama like this one). I have heard great things from students who transferred there and all the students I've met are extremely nice. No snobs at all - imagine that!

Cape Cod Academy - definition

A terrible school. Even if not everyone is rich, they all have the same mentality. The dress code is awful and youโ€™re forced to wear khakis, collared shirts, and dress shoes. Nobody likes cape cod academy at all. They refuse to pay their teachers enough, and the education itself honestly sucks. I learned more in one year of Spanish in public school than I did my 6 years at CCA. They also constantly make fun of you, including the teachers. Their sports are terrible as well. CCA is overpriced and bad.

โ€œOh youโ€™re home from the psych ward? Cool weโ€™re going to tell everyoneโ€
โ€œMy dad stopped working at Cape Cod Academy because the school is incredibly racistโ€
โ€œI turned down a job at Cape Cod Academy because they only offered me $23,000 a year.โ€
