It’s an adverb that can be used in a number of different ways:
1 It can mean particularly savage and violent;
2 It can mean in a direct and uncompromising way, where no attempt is made to disguise unpleasantness;
3 It can mean to an extremely unpleasant or harsh degree;
1 He was brutally attacked in the street;
2 It was a brutally candid review of her performance;
3 The thaw followed weeks of brutally cold weather;
What does "Brutal" mean?
A word used to describe someone or something that is not normal or totally weird. Often used to describe extreme nerds.
Did you see that kid with his Nintendo DS walking down the hall in his Pokemon backpack. HES SO BRUTAL.

An Army sluggo who always gives 100% and then some at all brutal Army tasks, whatever they may be. Can be found at a bar with dog tags out over an Affliction shirt and a fresh pair of Altamas. Often seen at the airport wearing an ACU assualt pack demanding an upgrade to first class. Typically yells "zero" after every overhead arm clap to demonstrate elite fitness.

The American Slang word for something that is very metal.
Taken by other scenes such as "Hardcore", and "Scene", it was originally used my Metalheads, and should stay that way.
