What does "Boong" mean?
A person or object who/which is useless in every way imaginable. It can be used as a noun, adjective or verb depending on the circumstance. A derogatory term which suits all occasions.

Term of endearment referring to an adorable aborignal Aussie transplant. Usually characterized by his charming personality, friendly sense of humor, and striking good looks. Be careful, though... like most things from Australia, this one can be deadly! He is a master manipulator, and will use his wit & charm to lure you in. Next thing you know, your head is on a stick! May also be used in the verb form to refer to the ability to do the above.

Boong - definition
A word commonly used by under-educated, white Australian racists to belittle and degrade Aboriginal Australians. Used on a casual basis, the word "Boong" originated in the famed bigot state of Queensland and has spread throughout the continent via the Australian construction industry, truckie culture and inter-generational racism.

Boong - slang
Boong is a racist and derogatory word used to describe Aboriginal Australian people.
Contrary to what is already written, 'Boong' is derived from the word 'Boonga-boonga' which is actually an Eastern Australian Aboriginal word (Eora and Cadigal People for example) that means arse or bum and was originally used by the Aboriginal people as an insult to the colonisers.
Many Aborignal languages do not have swear words and, in Aboriginal Culture, the arse is the most disgusting part of the body. The Aborignal People would taunt the europeans and call them Boonga's (whilst flashing their black arses at them 'Braveheart ' movie style). Once the europeans realised what they were being called they turned it around and began using the word to describe Aboriginal People.

Boong
A somewhat derogatory word used to describe an Australian Aboriginal. The word ALLEGEDLY comes from the sound that they make as they bounce off your vehicle. At one time, many years ago, there were some roads in Queensland where the Abbos used to frequently steal / hijack cars driven by whites. As a result of their lack of trustworthyness, a trait shared with black people everywhere, it became legal to just run them off the road. Any time an Abbo got in the way of your vehicle, you just rammed them out of the way. The sound they make as they bounce off, is similar to a gong......Boooong! As a result, the thieving curly haired vermin became known as Boongs.
'Look out mate, that thieving Boong is going to try to steal your ute'.....
