When you are acting stupid in Jesuit studies and need to spend 5 days with the 7th graders and 5 days with the 8th graders, hence the name ten-day.

What does "ten-day" mean?
A mandatory day off from work that is associated with a 10% cut in pay. Common for companies who desire to cut payroll costs due to a downturn in business without laying people off.

A clause that can be invoked when you and your significant other have had no form of contact for ten days. When you two haven't talked, kissed, had sex, or any variation of the three, for that specific length of time, it's not considered cheating if you hook up with someone else. It's considered substitution.
