What is stoppie?
Due to the stop/ start nature of American Football. Many people from the UK call it Stoppy Starty.
The Stoppy Starty grand final is on the TV and Beyonce is performing.

Stoppie - what is it?
A stunt, performed by applying the front brake of a bicycle (or motorbike) causing the bike to tip forwards onto it's front wheel, whilst maintaining balance and control.
Sometimes referred to as simply a stoppie
The opposite of a wheelie, where the back wheel only remains on the ground.
when you do a front-stoppie, be careful you don't go over the handlebars

Slang for a plug used in a sink.

stoppy back.....otherwise known as after hours. Extra illegal drinking time in a pub. This ancient tradition had waned over the last few years due to new more relaxed drinking laws in the UK, but still a few 'traditional' landlords keep the faith.

A sort of reverse wheelie but instead of raising the front wheel due to acceleration it a raising of the rear wheel and putting all the weight of the motorcycle onto the front wheel due to rapid decceleration .
Squids love to show off by doing stoppies on their sport bikes.
Stoppie
The act of braking hard on a motorcycle, causing it to nose up on it's front wheel, and balancing on the front wheel as the motorcycle comes to a halt. Spectacular to view when done properly. Often requires massive dental reconstructive surgery when done improperly.
