1. the test of time for band nerds to compete against each other
2. practicing forever only to tank the audition
3. you get beat by people you KNOW your better than
4. the most nerve racking 5 minutes of your life

Honors band - what is it?
The best, most awesome experience for band nerds.
One is usually put into an honor band because:
They are an excellent player, show dependability in band and are mature enough to accept such an honor.
Simply, you have to be good and mature enough to deal with it.
Band nerd: I am so nervous about honor band!
5 hours later, after the honor band concert.
Band nerd: That was kick ass!
What does "honors band" mean?
*NOT A HONORS CLASS*
Honors Classes: Math, Science, Language Arts.
Not Honors Classes: Band.
Me: Hey, do you take any honors classes?
Daniela: I take honors band...
Me: You mean symphonic band
Daniela: No I take "honors band"
