What is headshake?
A shake of the head from left to right in a 45 degree angle which usually means a "Maybe", i.e. Neither a Yes nor a No.
Typically used in India and nearby regions to say "yes" out of politeness or duress, but really meaning a "maybe".
1. There are times when the Indian headshake can be useful. Like when your girlfriend or wife asks you whether she has gained weight.

Headshake - what is it?
An experience only in Tijuana Mexico, where the waiters cock your head back and pour an enourmous amount of Tequila down your throat while blowing a whistle then they shake the man's head vigerously if it's a female they pick them up and spin them around.

What does "headshake" mean?
A girl or woman who makes frequent, repeated quick side-to-side head motions (as someone indicating a "no" gesture would), ostensibly to clear the face of loose hair but actually often used as a method to quickly and surreptitiously scan her surroundings without chancing anything beyond the briefest eye contact with those nearby, and/or to attract attention.
