What is hater?
A person who pretends to act happy for your successes than trash talks you behind your back. Someone who most likely dosen't have shit to work with and has to hate on people who move up in the world. This term could be used to describe anyone who hates on another person for 'good reasons. They will turn your good qualities around and make it look like something bad because they just arent happy with themselves and can't achieve anywhere near what you have.
Man, that Vitale is such a hater. He needs to stop drinkin that haterade and move on up in the world.

Hater - what is it?
An overused word used by someone to describe another person that expresses a different opinion other than that of their own. This term is generally used by someone who can not intellectually respond to someone having a different opinion than that of their own and is thrown out as a last ditch effort to discredit the persons argument.
PERSON 1: You mean didn't vote for Barack Obama?!
PERSON 2: No, I did not. In my opinion, I believe his politics are little too far left for me to feel comfortable voting for him. I'm sure he's a decent enough guy personally, but can't see him as my President.

What does "hater" mean?
A person whose jealousy of another person success or achievements makes them verbally nit-pick any flaws no matter how small or just make up flaws in order to somehow try and belittle the successful person.
The term is more often than not used improperly to title a person who simply does not like something or someone because it’s not what they are into.

not a word but is still used far too much and each time is increasingly annoying. Said to be jealousy, but could be someone who just points out the stupidity in what someone else is doing, successful or not.
side note to people who use this term, just cause someone doesnt like a certain artist or person it does not mean they are mad they are successful- it might just mean they dont like their music and or style or how they go about things.

Hater - definition
Extremely overused and hackneyed catchphrase that people use when someone disapproves of something the user usually knows in their heart is shitty. Idiots like Kevin Federline, Paris Hilton, and their ilk go around doing their thing, and reasonable, working people who dispise them are labelled "haters" by the idiots (usually teenagers) who idolize them for no reason they could even name.

Hater - slang
Overused word that people like to use just because someone else expresses a dislike for a certain individual.

A word that is overused, or a label given to you when your being truthful and reasonable about something, and people don't want to accept the fact your right.
ME- Bow Wow is a fake thug, who has a ghostwriter.

A term used to deflect criticism and erect a mental dissonance that allows one to ignore further criticism in continued delusion of one's own competence, skill or talent.
In addressing someone's inability to sing in tune.
Person 1: You're not good a good singer.
Person 2: Nah, I want to believe that I'm good. Therefore, you're just a jealous hater and you're opinion is worthless.
Hater
A person that simply cannot be happy for another person's success. So rather than be happy they make a point of exposing a flaw in that person.
Hating, the result of being a hater, is not exactly jealousy. The hater doesnt really want to be the person he or she hates, rather the hater wants to knock somelse down a notch.
