An oxymoron; a contradiction. A sarcastic description of a sclerotic and impotent country without vision relying upon historical myths of past greatness. Typically a reference to continental Europe.

Europower - what is it?
(n.) One of the main economies of Europe. This does not include duchies, principalities or struggling nations. Europowers were the heads of now collapsed colonial empires that still occupy the overwhelming majority of places on the league of most powerful economies.
