The past tense of "clonking out" (the state of being very tired or made tired); having fallen into deep sleep.

A versatile word, can be used to describe something/ someone who has: stopped working, is dead, or fell asleep.
“God, the damn computer clonked out on me. I should’ve gotten the newer one.”
“I had to work all day today. I’m so tired I might clonk out.”
“Yeah, my uncle clonked out last week. Poor guy just couldn’t outrun those wild zebras.”

Being extremely tired you could sleep right then and there. Usually heard from Australian youth.
