What is benders?

An event marked by the consumption of copious amounts of alcohol, the use of illegal drugs, slut spirals, loss of memory, and various other inappropriate life decisions, lasting anywhere from a few days to a few weeks.

Jill slept with 3 guys last weekend ... all while she was blackout drunk. I think she was on a bender.

A hockey player who is really bad, usually has skates that bend at the ankles, so the player cant skate.

What does "benders" mean?

1. The status of being bent for more than a day. Usually results in loss of memory, money, strange tattoos, and other things you'll have a hell of a time explaining.

2. A homosexual male (British slang). Someone who is bent, that is, not straight.

Benders - what does it mean?

A term commonly used to describe a period of time (preferably more than 24 hours) spent escaping life's harsh realities (marriage, work etc) Consumption of alcohol and drugs is a must. Anything goes.

"Any idea why Tim isn't at his desk?"
"I think he's still on a bender from the weekend, why?"
"His wife is looking for him..."
"Deary me!"

Benders - meaning

1. When you catch a case of the bends (being a bender*,hockey type).
3. You can't skate, shoot, or pass; you virtually are playing at the worse possible level.
2. It is very hard to get rid of it and the only file on record is from one, Bryan Lowe. And he states that the only way to get rid of the bends is to jerk off a lot and don't play hockey for two weeks.

-You don't want to catch benderitis, a few players of the Midwest tornados had it and never got rid of it.
-Benderitis will get you benched and if you catch it long enough possibly kicked off the team.
- I have caught benderitis and I couldn't shoot or skate, very bad situation but thankfully I only had it for one game.

Benders - definition

Term used to describe a time span of over a couple days where you get extremely drunk or high and are too shitfaced to remember the events that occurred within that time period. You have to be wearing the same clothes you were before you started the bender or else it's not considered one.
