Thanks todd for that eye-opening essay about how most Vancouverites are on welfare, and how our beloved Yaletown can't hold a match to what-did-you-say-Edmonton ??? Pity our arts scene, but I don't think the milfs and surfers out here have the time or gayness to stare at a Picasso through some nonprescription set of thick glasses. You should thank us for being so generous. really. Some other town without the luxury of hot chicks, good food, nice architecture, good weather, beaches and glorious scenery should hold the title of Canada's cultural capital. Not hating on any place, but people who knock Vancouver either haven't seen it in 20 years or don't know shit about what they're talking about.

What does "Vancouver" mean?
Vancouver is large city in British Columbia, Canada. Vancouver was also put on top of Economist's Liveability List at 98.8 for liveability. Vancouver has been the top city now for five years. Vancouver truly is the best city to live on on Earth. Vancouver is a beautiful place and hopefully someday, you will be able to visit.

A very small city or very big town located in Washington state. Might as well be North Portland Oregon even though it's in Washington. Absolutely nothing to offer in the way of entertainment accept bars and skate parks. Large Emmo population, Large Mexican population, Large Asian population, Bigger White Population.

2. A city whose citizens feel the need to remind you over and over again just how beautiful the city is, and just how pathetic and square you are from being from the province of Ontario.

In ten minutes you can be walking in old growth forests. Greenpeace, adbusters, legal pot, safe injection sites and things like this make Vancouver Hated by right wing nuts. Vancouver has the highest density, highest property values and best heath standards of Any city its size in the world.
In Vancouver I sit by the ocean in peace. Every other city seems empty to me after loving Vancouver
