An indie-rock group from the US that debuted in 2005 with their album A Fever You Can't Sweat Out. They often use rather long song titles (Lying is the most fun a girl can have without taking her clothes; The Only difference betwwen martyrdom and suicide is press coverage; etc).

The second album they made was ‘Pretty. Odd.’, a beatles-esque album. The most popular song from this was ‘Nine In The Afternoon’.
After this album, Ryan Ross and Jon Walker left the band to form The Young Veins.
The third album they made was called ‘Vices & Virtues’ which was described as being upbeat & focused. The most popular song from this was ‘The Ballad Of Mona Lisa’
When Vices & Virtues was made, Dallon Weekes from (The Brobecks) joined as a touring member.
Before the fourth album, Spencer Smith had to leave the band due to personal issues.
The fourth album they made was ‘Too Weird To Live, Too Rare To Die’ which was highly synth & dance influenced. The most popular song in this album was ‘This is Gospel’.
At this point Brendon became an LGBT+ role-model to some due to him coming out as bisexual and his song ‘Girls/Girls/Boys’.
The fifth album he made was ‘Death of a Bachelor’ which was influenced by alternative genres and pop. The most popular song from this was ‘Emperor’s New Clothes’
This year, Brendon Urie starred on broadway musical kinky boots and at the moment is said to be writing a new album.

Panic at the Disco - what does it mean?
Panic at the Disco (formerly Panic! at the Disco) is a rock band from Las Vegas. Due to unfortunate circumstances, 80% of their fanbase is synonymous with screaming fangirls who only know their hit single, "I Write Sins Not Tragedies."
The other 20% are cool, intelligent people who appreciate good music and want MTV to die, and don't listen to the radio either. They know all of Panic's songs (from both their amazing yet extremely different albums, A Fever You Can't Sweat Out and Pretty. Odd.) and know all the lyrics as well as their meaning. They don't listen to Fall Out Boy and My Chemical Romance unless their genuinely like them, which would be because of their (good) older material.
Panic at the Disco blend techno and rock with theatrical touches in their first album, A Fever You Can't Sweat Out. Contrary to popular belief, this was something that had never been done before. At the September 2005 release of this album, it did not get much attention from the media or really any commercial recognition at all. In early 2006, the video for their second single, I Write Sins Not Tragedies, was played on MTV's Total Requests.
Is this enough proof that this band was NOT originally meant to be "liked" by ignorant "fans" who like one song?
In March 2008 they released their Beatles-esque second album, Pretty. Odd. This experimental and risky album did lose some of the original fans, but true fans ignored the fact that it was very different from the first album and gave it a chance.
Overall, PATD are an extremely original band whose less popular songs (NOT I WRITE SINS NOT TRAGEDIES) need to be considered.

Formed in Las Vegas, Nevada by members Ryan Ross, Spencer Smith, Brendon Urie, and Brent Wilson, P!atd is commonly refered to as a "pop-punk" and/or " punk-rock" band. Brent Wilson, former basist, who was in the band for a very short time, left and was replaced by Jon Walker. Later in 2009, Ryan Ross (guitarist) and Jon Walker (basist) left due to creative differences and formed The Young Veins. Two albums were made with Ross and Walker; A Fever You Can't Sweat Out, and Pretty. Odd. The two albums are widely different from each other. After Ross and Walker left, vocalist Brendon Urie, and drummer Spencer Smith, created the album Vices and Virtues. Many people stereotype them to be "listened to by 13 year olds who don't know what real music is, and"emo kids." Recently, Panic!'s song "Ready To Go" has been feautured in TV commercials, causing the band to become more mainstream. Although you don't have to listen to them since the beginning when they were originally formed, it would help if you know other songs then just the ones that play on the radio and TV.

Quite possibly the worst band in the history of the world. They're even worse than Fall Out Boy and the Jonas Brothers combined, which is seriously saying something. You might be able to use the term "music", if you use it loosely. Most people think that their noisy excuse for music might fit into the genre of "emo-core", but even then, it would a compliment, so they have they're own genre, known as "new-age piss-core". The "band" has four members, all of which are extremely gay and therefore do not want girls, much less 13-year-old girls. Most of their songs include melodies that were sampled from more popular and better bands, such as Led Zeppelin, the Who, and the Beatles. They are below rap and hip-hop, both of which suck terribly, and is the single-celled organism stage of music. And then, just to finish it off, they took out the only cool thing about them: the "!", which put them even lower than they were.

Panic at the Disco is, quite simply, the reason for all existence. These males are superbly attractive in every way imaginable; from Ryan's vanilla deodorant to Jon's Christmas/Sensual Amber smell to Spencer's love of black dress shirts, this band is the equivalent of existing. Each member of the band - Spencer James Smith V, George Ryan Ross III, Jonathan Jacob Walker, and Brendon Boyd Urie - is absolutely, astoundingly, amazing perfect in every way imaginable. Anybody that doesn't agree with said statement shall perish at once. Now, despite what you may believe to be true, there is no exclamation point/mark in the title "Panic at the Disco". It was heftily removed in January of 2008, which was nearly a year ago, so you shawtehz shall CEASE using it, at once. Stupendous lyrics and admirable song titles put Panic at the Disco at the top of every teenager's list. Most of these "fans", however, aren't actually fans. You see, my dear friend, those who think they are fans merely because they find frontman Brendon Urie attractive, shall die in a fire at this time. Those pathetic humans need to open their stupid little eyes and become aware of the fact that other members are in the band, as well; for instance, Jon, Spencer, and Ryan. Each of these males is equally attractive; not one of them is superior to any of the others in any way. Panic at the Disco recently toured alongside Black Gold, Motion City Soundtrack, The Hush Sound, and Phantom Planet on the 2008 Honda Civic tour, which I, Samantha, gladly attended (and, might I say, those males were looking especially appealing on the night of April 30th, 2008). For some reason, most Panic at the Disco "fans" have it in their naughty little minds that "Ryden" and "Joncer" actually exist. I, however, will not believe these rumors until the day the future bearers of my children confirm said accusations; besides, Jon and Spencer are currently occupied by females, clearly named Cassie, as well as Haley. An amazing band. The Beatles of the 21st century. A band most people recognize by "I Write Sins Not Tragedies" and "Nine in the Afternoon". Most of their publicity comes from those two songs, and people who only like those songs consider themselves fans, though they aren't real fans like those of us who know the names of ALL the other songs and like those too. Not only do we know the songs, we know the band. Brendon Boyd Urie, George Ryan Ross III, Jon Jacob Walker, and Spencer James Smith V are the four musically gifted members of this band, rapidly gaining popularity from their lates album.
REAL fans like A Fever You Can't Sweat Out, the band's first album, for such songs as, But It's Better if You Do, Lying is the Most Fun a Girl can have Without Taking her Clothes Off, Build God Then We'll Talk, and Camisado. These songs helped make up a great album.
The second album released by the band is Pretty. Odd. This is when the band changed their name from Panic! At the Disco, to Panic at the Disco, because they said they did not want to over-load their public with punctuation. This album is characterized by such songs as, Nine in the Afternoon, That Green Gentleman, Pas De Cheval, and I have Friends in Holy Spaces. This album is the latest one, though the real fans wait on bated breath for the next one.
