What is InuYasha?
A great anime on adult swim that takes place in feudal era japan. It centers around a modern japanese school girl named Kagome a half demon named Inuyasha a lecherous monk Miroku a young fox demon named Shippo and a demon slayer named Sango . This show has a few flaws but it's great overall. It does however receive A LOT of crap for its length
My opinion it's a damn good show and to all you haters get a LIFE.

What does "InuYasha" mean?
Kagome Higurashi, after being pulled down a well by a demon, finds herself in Feudal Japan, where she learns that a powerful jewel has been reborn inside her body. After the sacred jewel shatters in an attempt to retrieve it from one of the many demons who was after its power, Kagome must join forces with the half-demon Inuyasha (also after the jewel's power) to track down the shards of the jewel before its power falls into the wrong hands.
Half-human, half-demon, Inuyasha desires the Shikon Jewel for his own questionable purposes. He possesses his father's sword, Tetsusaiga, which enables him to defeat powerful opponents.
InuYasha - what does it mean?
Only Anime in the world with more filler than Dragon Ball Z.
If I wanted to watch a hundred episodes of filler I'd watch InuYasha.

A so-so anime, dont get me wrong, the action scenes and caracter development(although slow) are rather well done, same thing goes for the look of each caracter(though, I be wondering if old Inu be compensating for "something", what with that huge sword) Another good thing about it is the fan base, its large with mostly freindly (though....ummm....grammerless) people (Unless you offend there Inu-loving ways), Most of them watching out of curiocity(like I said, plot advancement slow, so your gonna wana watch it) with rather interesting music in it.
(For those of you who like it, check out DBZ, Gungrave, and maybe even Read or Die)
Though, the art style....it only got the necisary details in it, and it tends to be a wee bit lazy in shading, aswell as the dialouge is pretty bad(The voice acting is.....so-so), and Adult Swim has yet to show any new episodes(to my knowleage) in a REALLY long time.....

an anime made by rukimo takahashi, the main character, InuYasha is a half-demon from futal japan. a 16 year old school girl, kagome falls down a well and goes back in time to this era of time where she meets inuyasha, and they fall in love and they spend their time finding the jewel shards of the shikon no tama, which gives much power to youkai (demons). this is the starting of the anime..... i am obsessed with it and if u are reading this.... u are 2 probably lol.

One of the best animes out there, made by one of the best mangakas out there, Rumiko Takahashi.
The plot mainly focuses around a group of friends traveling around the Feudal Era of Japan (Sengoku Jidai), trying to defeat one common enemy and collect the shards of the shattered Shikon no Tama (Jewel of Four Souls).
It is Takahashi's longest-running series, with fifty-seven volumes of manga and five-hundred and fifty-eight chapters, and one-hundred and sisty-seven TV episodes. With the manga's end, the anime series is set to start up again in October of 2009.
