What is Hardcore kid?
A fan of the hardcore music scene. Sometimes, but not always, straight-edge. Their clothing is usually either basketball shorts and track shoes for freedom of movement while hardcore dancing or tight pants and a band t-shirt. Bands can include, but are not limited to, Throwdown, Terror, Hatebreed, Norma Jean, Between the Buried and Me, etc.

Hardcore kid - what is it?
A hardcore kid has nothing to do with v-necks, skinny jeans, or fashion in general.
We live for shows, local or big. I would rather go to a local show because the scene is usually better not filled with posers and what not.
We wear what we want.
It is most common to see us in cargo shorts, or basketball shorts though. Our shirts mostly consist of band shirts, and pull-over hoodies. The more Underground local shirt is the better. A large number of us are also edge, which means no smoking, drinking, or drugs.
We usually don't have those silly scene kid plugs, and we never have long hair. SCENES DEAD, SHAVE YOUR HEAD.
There is difference between hardcore, and your other shitty cores, know the difference. Not filled with breakdowns every 30 seconds, and no fucking poppy/chorus synth bullshit.

What does "Hardcore kid" mean?
a kid who listens to hardcore/metal heavy music: throwdown, the bled, bleeding through, as i lay dying, nora, darkest hour. stuff like that. they are usually dressed in black band t shirts and blue jeans. but some may dress whatever they want. they go to hardcore shows and hardcore dance which is where they punch air and do ninja kicks. they are not afraid of getting hurt and will always stand up for themselves. they are tough and they dont care what people think of them. they hate being called emo and they will always start shxt for that. but they are also never uptight in anything. they are never mad at anyone and usually never hate. they are usually funny and fun to be with and also like to have fun. random things are their favorites. they are just like most normal people but they wont take shxt from anyone.

a young person who listens to frantic and hevy music. when at gigs, a hardcore kid will punch an kick the air in a spectacular fashion. however, in a breakdown several hardcore kids will enter a pit and kick the shit out of each other. hardcore kids are the toughest of any alternative person. but beware: there are many bogus hardcore kids about! its rather popular to be one nowadays

Hardcore kid - meaning
Any person who listens to hardcore. They listen to Righteous Jams, Champion, Set Your Goals, Hoods, Donnybrook, The Warriors, Bury Your Dead, etc. They go to shows frequently and mosh. They wear sport shorts or camo and always wear band shirts. They do not have extensions or any of that pussy shit but shave their heads. Most of the time core kids are ex scenesters or ex punk looking for a true music scene. they do wear tight jeans but not their sisters, thats for pussies. They 2 step and spink kick and the majority like Positive music and claim Straightedge.

Hardcore kids don't wear their sisters pants, paint their nails or rock that Pat Benetar emo hairdo. Those are Indie Rockers that dress like that. A hardcore kid wears a fitted 51/50 cap to the side, a hoodie with a band logo on it, baggy jeans, or cargo shorts. Always in a fresh pair of kicks, with a wallet chain and typically listens to early 90s Hip Hop like Biggie, Tupac and Wu Tang, along with all kinds of Punk, Metal and Hardcore from the 70s til the 90s..
Hardcore kids can be straight edge and socially conscience, but most tough guy types will drink beer, smoke weed, sniff coke, get rowdy in the pit and get into fights.
REAL Hardcore kids are typically in their late 20s to mid 30s because "hardcore kid" is a term that was created in the mid 90s when bands like Madball, Sick of it All, Indecision, 25 ta Life, VOD, among others, were in their prime. But like 7 Seconds said back in the early 80s, Young Til I Die!

Hardcore kid
Contrary to popular belief, hardcore has almost nothing to do with the emo culture.
Hardcore music, which can very loosely be tied to emo music because of the screaming/yelling, is usually about morals and life itself. Instead of screaming, "I would very much like to kill myself," these individuals are singing things more along the lines of "I will never give up my dreams."
The typical "hardcore kid" can be found wearing any assortment of clothes, from gym shorts and hoodies to skinny jeans and baggy T's.
Along with these basics of apparel, hardcore kids often have tattoo's, gauges, short hair and sometimes keep their facial hair.
