Girls usually dress similar to scene girls. They wear baggy shirts, beanies, big glasses, and tight jeans. Some people claim hardcore kids go to shows for pussy emo bands but real hardcore kids listen to underground rap/hip hop and are usually involved with drug use/sale.

What does "Hardcore Kid" mean?
A hardcore kid is someone who loves bands like whitechapel, parkway drive, carnifex and many things untold. They go to small intimate gigs at tiny venues.
Hardcore girls tend to have straight hair. They normally wear skinny jeans, dolly shoes or slip ons, checkered shirts and a hoodie. It's a little like indie style.
Hardcore guys have straight hair which normally has a fringe that sweeps across their face. They wear, skinny jeans, bootcut jeans or shorts, band tees or shirts, slip ons or skate shoes and a hoodie.
Hardcore kids hate scene kids and think they are just a bunch of posers.

A hardcore does not have to dress in a determined way. Every body saying "Oh look, tight pants are so gay" or any kind of shit, is an asshole; thats plain Superficial.
Wearing either these or those clothes doesn´t make you more hardcore, i think its more the way you act; Avoid beeing like everyone else, and following the masses, you just stay true to yourself and respect others. I think that´s hardcore.

Hardcore Kid - meaning
A group of individuals who don’t give a shit about anything.
Belongs to a sub-culture of an underground movement heavily influenced by its heavy music, and scene, which is dead and no longer around.
Listens to raw, dissonant, violent and unrelenting music which shoves misanthropic views of disgust toward life down your throat. Stems from a melting pot of ideas, cultures, fashion, art... taking only the best elements of punk, crust punk, power violence, noise, grind, thrash, sludge, doom, metal, heavy-metal, death metal, youth crew, emo, etc....
Hardcore takes these subgenre elements, selectively combines specific things about them, then and calls it, its own.
Hardcore kids are usually very proud, brooding, violent, sick of it, one-dimensional, tattoo covered, better than everyone, conceited, self- centered, pissed-off, hopeless, heart on sleeve, chip on shoulder, angry assholes that have no respect and talk shit on everything.
They only come out at 7:00pm for $5 shows at some shitty venue or junk yard show that will get closed down for fighting or breaking shit, they also like to slam-dance, start bands, tour, have a good taste for independent films and explicit art and most importantly don’t care about being your friend.
There are no examples of hardcore kids, it is what it is.
Hardcore Kid - definition
A stereotype of someone who listens to hardcore, specifically deathcore and will listen to hip-hop and gansta rap in the car. True hardcore kids dress very similar to that of the hip hop culture, including a baller-cap with a shiny sticker, T-shirt, cargo or gym shorts and sometimes wear "emo glasses." They have tattoos on their neck and arms and some kind of facial piercing.
Hardcore kids differ from scene kids who are similar because they listen to hardcore, but have long hair, no facial hair, and wear tight clothes. Also, some scene kids are girls.
Hardcore Kid - slang
Someone, usually in their mid teens to early thirties. They usually will be caught hanging around the local gym, target.... etc. They usually adhere to the straight edge lifestyle and will travel in packs.

Longsleeve black shirt usually with something offensive written in large white print for extra BR00tality
A flat brimmed hat that is usually too small for their head with the brim point somewhat straight up and slightly to the side.

either will be seen wearing gym shorts with disgusting white vans with no socks, or ironic loafers.
Can also be seen wearing slim fit jeans with nike dunks that they constantly brag about.
A true hardcore kid knows the roots of hardcore and listens to actual hardcore bands like Terror, Reign supreme, Earth crisis, Hoods, death before dishonor, armed for battle.
A poser on the other hand will claim hardcore and straight edge but will listen to Br00tal bands like suicide silence and bring me the horizon or whitechapel. These people usually call themselves hardcore for about a week and then move on to their next phase of "rebellion".
Hardcore is all about positivity and perserverance and will be around long after all the trends are dead.

Three types.
One Original hardcore:
Listens to bands such as Minor Threat, Municiple Waste and Agnostic Front. Short hair or dreads. Wears sports trainers or worker boots. Occasionally DM's. Never pumps. Band hoodie, faded jeans/shorts. Very strong, fights alot.
2) Modern Hardcore:
Listens to band such as Enter Shikari, Cancer Bats and Gallows. Emo style haircuts with fringes over one eye or gunshots. Checkered lumberjack shirts or band shirts. And all over print tees. Band hoodie. Tight jeans or all over print shorts. Sports shorts too. Big belt buckles. Pumps or Nike trainers. Vans too. Flatpeak hats or baseball caps. Appeals to extreme sports such as skating, parkour and surfing. Likes to mosh. Proper mosh, not emo moshing. But not fighting like original hardcore. Likes the idea on knuckledusters but doesnt fight.
3 Emo Hardcore: Likes band such as Bullet For My Valentine, 30 Seconds to Mars and Slipknot. Refuses to admit to being an emo. Wants to be a metalhead but got rejected. Wears tight jeans, shirts and hoodies. Pumps and Vans. Studded belts. Gunshot haircuts or real emo fringes. Black hair only. Basically, an emo who doesnt want to be called an emo and was rejected by the metalheads.

A hardcore kid has nothing to do with v-necks, skinny jeans, or fashion in general.
We live for shows, local or big. I would rather go to a local show because the scene is usually better not filled with posers and what not.
We wear what we want.
It is most common to see us in cargo shorts, or basketball shorts though. Our shirts mostly consist of band shirts, and pull-over hoodies. The more Underground local shirt is the better. A large number of us are also edge, which means no smoking, drinking, or drugs.
We usually don't have those silly scene kid plugs, and we never have long hair. SCENES DEAD, SHAVE YOUR HEAD.
There is difference between hardcore, and your other shitty cores, know the difference. Not filled with breakdowns every 30 seconds, and no fucking poppy/chorus synth bullshit.

Any person who listens to hardcore. They listen to Righteous Jams, Champion, Set Your Goals, Hoods, Donnybrook, The Warriors, Bury Your Dead, etc. They go to shows frequently and mosh. They wear sport shorts or camo and always wear band shirts. They do not have extensions or any of that pussy shit but shave their heads. Most of the time core kids are ex scenesters or ex punk looking for a true music scene. they do wear tight jeans but not their sisters, thats for pussies. They 2 step and spink kick and the majority like Positive music and claim Straightedge.
